Excellent pot!👍🏻
I already have the G3, but wanted a bigger capacity pot. G2 is only slightly bigger, so at 1 litre, this is the best option for me. Superb quality as usual from Firemaple, solid build, great finish too Boiled a full litre in 7m.40s on a puck stove, ( Carbon felt alcohol stove) Which was super impressive tbh. On my Soto windmaster, 2m 19s for a litre is crazy. Very impressive boil times, great value, but be careful with the lid, if you're using a wild flame, or open fire, it will melt! Highly recommend this one. Edit. Had a slight problem with my pot, but Firemaples excellent customer service replaced it for me immediately. 👍🏻

Great performing, lightweight cooking pot
I was looking for a large, efficient cook pot that could fit all my kit inside and perform as good as the all in one kits. The pot is 115m dia and 133mm high including lid. I like how this Fire Maple pot is a true 1l capacity and not just to the rim. It’s large but lightweight and feels robust, and the lid holds on just well enough that it’s easy to get off. It has water level marks inside the pot for convenance. The pot can hold a Coleman C100 gas canister, small stove (OEX Xt-2 or Soto Windmaster) and a Canister stand with enough space for other small items. It can also fit a 230g gas canister and the stand but not the stove at the same time. The handles are connected to the pot by a riveted metal bracket not a tack weld so should stand the test of time. The handles themselves feel a little flimsy but do the job okay and the silicone coatings keeps them touchable even when boiling and haven’t melted like other pots have been known for. The mesh bag is a perfect diameter for the pot but a little longer which is handy to stove an additional gas canister, bowl or mug in to keep everything together. I’ve performed some boil tests with a couple of stoves and it has practically reduced the difference between stoves to negligible. My previous mess tin and an OEX XT-2 took over 8mins to boil just 750ml of water. With this Fire Maple pot and 1l of cold water, to a rolling boil it takes just 3m02s indoors at 23deg and 3m59s outdoors at 11deg. My Soto Windmaster stove with 1l cold water boils at 3m23s indoors at 23deg and 3m23s outdoors at 3deg. My only dislike or more like something I would have liked it to have would be some strainer holes in the lid and a sipping whole to drink from. Other than that I can’t fault it.

Perfect for Backpacking
I've used this pot for wildcamping/backpacking a few times now and I must say it's great Very lightweight and feels sturdy The rubberised coating on the handles make it comfortable to hold even when the water inside is boiling Measuring marks on the inside of the pot are a nice touch and very handy The lid has a solid clasp on the pot and doesn't fill like it will fall off if tipped over and has a small slit in the top to allow steam out while keeping pressure inside and bugs out if you're cooking outdoors The heat exchanger on the bottom is a nice bonus and has made a noticable difference in the time it takes to boil compared to similar sized pots I've used in the past It also doubles as a container for the mini stove I use with it when I'm out camping - stove, windshield, spork, lighter and 8-10 fuel tablets all fit comfortably inside it Overall a perfect 1L pot for camping

excellent, heats up fast with less heat
Just right for my small campervan, using it for most things. Running on cans of gas, energy saving from my heat-exchanging pot and kettle is noticeable, about 25% I've reckoned. Easy to clean, treating it with respect, no metal implements.

Fast fuel saver
I tried this out against a Primus tech kettle and a titanium pot. The Fire maple was a minute quicker at boiling at the same flame level. I'm not that bothered about the speed but it uses significantly less fuel than my other pots so is going to save me weight and money. Indeed the weight savings on fuel probably makes it a better choice than the titanium pot. It also doesn't burn its contents unlike the titanium one. All in all a good purchase.

Its fine but id rather use the Kettle.
Fire-Maple 1L Camping Pot. How you use this is down to personal preference i personally would just use it for boing water that's why i was much rather use the equivalent FireMaple kettle. I love that this pot holds a litre of water and it has a heat exchange element on the bottom (just like the kettle) but I'm not a fan of the handles and I don't like the push on soft plastic lid either other than this works really well especially on a gas burner. Its slso very lightweight made from aluminium.
