This book has profoundly impacted my quality of life and my habits
I love this book! Since discovering The Align Method, I switched out my traditional desk for a coffee table. I work from the floor every day. I spend a lot of time in front of my laptop running my business, so #floorculture has been a game changer for me :)I started out sitting on a yoga block and my postured continues to improve week by week. I also now hang from a tree branch in my back hard in the mornings and evenings, which has helped with my back and shoulder pain tremendously.Also, love the walking section. I used to think walks (and gardening) were "just for old people," but taking mindful, daily strolls in nature now helps me clear my head, problem solve and just calm the heck down.Overall, practicing the principles in this book has improved my life mentally, physically and emotionally. My body feels better and moves with more ease, my mind is focused and at the end of the day, I feel more at peace. Thank you, Aaron, for giving so much of your time and energy to write this book and help your community get better every day.

Life Changing. I have healed my lower back pain thanks to this book!
I stumbled upon him via Max Lugavere's podcast and ended up purchasing an Align Band and preordering this book.After reading this book, I put my bed on the floor. I took one of my couches out of my living room and replaced it with a bunch of floor pillows. I started working on the floor at work. I started squatting randomly throughout my day, and hanging from my pull-up bar a few minutes a day. After a week, my lower back pain disappeared. I am a bit sad that I didn't know this just 5 years ago as I started having back pain after giving birth to my kids.. but it's better late than never! At 36, I feel sooo much better than I did in my 20s. I've combined more movement throughout my day with also better sleep, nutrition, and meditation, and my quality life has exponentially improved. I also make sure to get out in nature each day and that makes such a difference in mood.HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I am much more mindful of how I move, and just how I go through life in general. I'm truly convinced.

Solid movement principles
The older I get, the more I am reminded that greatness happens in the small things. Movement is no exception to that rule. The 5 movement principles discussed in the Align Method - walking, ground sitting, nasal breathing, hanging, and hip hinging - are foundational to a life “well-moved”.This is a great book to read alongside a book like Tiny Habits or Atomic Habits as it provides actionable material that can be strategically inserted throughout the day. As a result of reading this book, I set up a pull-up bar in one of my door frames to develop a hanging habit, and I set up a dedicated floor-sitting area. Both were easy to set up and are easy to do throughout the day - in other words, perfect habits. I’m glad I read the book and would recommend it.

Simple yet helpful tips for the body with even better stuff for the mind

Incredibly well-written and jam-packed with science-backed content
Aaron does an amazing job of articulating a ton of science-backed information in simple terms, easily digestible for the layman. He mixes great content with humor and an easy to follow "how to" on getting your entire being "Aligned". Read a few pages, read a chapter, enjoy it any way that feels right for you. There are so many great tips and easy to understand exercises and principles that this book is destined to be in an easy-to-access spot in your home, office or gym. Aaron isn't dogmatic...he's practical and he's done the work. He's been to the other side, lived misaligned and come back to share what he's learned on his journey. He's a classic "wounded healer"...and for me, those are the best kinds of teachers. You're going to love this book!!!!

Simple yet effective!
Wow! Aaron Alexander's book is phenomenal! Easy to read and well written. This guide to a healthy foundational body is just what I was looking for. His experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist is what got me intrigued as I am also a LMT. I first heard about Aaron Alexander on the Aubrey Marcus Podcast. I started listening to Aaron's Podcast shortly after and it convinced me to pick up this book. I love the applicability of this book for everyday use. The tips and tricks that are backed by scientific study are so helpful in creating a healthier mind, body, and spiritual connection. Greatly recommend this book to anyone wanting to live a more "Aligned" lifestyle.

Inspiring
Aaron’s methods frequently inspire me to put the book down and apply his methods accordingly.I now look at basic daily routines with new perspective, and as a classroom teacher I rearranged my classroom and routines so students can reap the benefits as well. You’ll often find my students and I outside hanging from the school monkey bars on the playground, a simple one minute act with massive long term benefits.I also see my students differently, they became my teachers in the area of movement. They naturally want to lay or sit on the floor, and it’s easy for me to see that we are all born with these instinctively beneficial methods, but somewhere in the business of life lose them.I’ve recommended Aaron’s book for our divisional teacher book study as I’d love to see his methods spread like wildfire in our classrooms and homes and bring us back to our natural and instinctive body alignment methods.Thank you, Aaron, for The Align Method!

Das Buch ist nicht nur für Bewegungsbegeisterte wertvoll, sondern sollte wirklich von JEDEM einmal gelesen werden, um sich natürlicher Bewegungsmuster wieder bewusst zu werden. Obwohl ich im Yoga- und Fitnessbereich schon relativ viel gelesen habe, habe ich hier sehr viel Neues dazulernen können!
