My skin reacts to any metal that is NOT at least 14k gold. I purchased this to make earring wires and, unfortunately, the metal turned my ears black with oxidation. Real 14k gold doesn't do that to my ears. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a return available. At least there is no place on my order information for me to select "return item". I am taking the earring wires to a jeweler to confirm my suspicions.

I bought this wire to turn some of my loose pearls into charms, and it seems to have worked well enough! The wire is very soft, flexible, and easy to work with. I ordered 1 foot of 26 gauge wire and received EXACTLY 1 foot in a tiny coil. It is honestly pretty expensive for what it is but you know exactly what you get and it works well for the home crafter.

The colour wasn't as yellow as I hoped but everything else was exactly as described and shown. Good product.
