Water infiltration,fogging after 2 weeks. Not good. Not happy

These headlights look really good, very bright ,and I love how they are adjustable. The problems I ran into were the plugs, I had to force the plugs to fit in both headlights and that included breaking the headlight plug plastics. The other issue we’re how they fit I had to force them to go into position, otherwise decent fit.

Order for use in a 2001 vw Jetta TDI. Look nice on the Jetta, however, the quality is questionable and definitely not an OEM direct replacement. The plugs do not fit, and require cutting (plug body& plastic on car drivers side to install) and re-wiring. Professional installation cost was 225.00 and should not be attempted without proper tools. Very high price for what the end product cost is, also, instructions very poor and the manufacturer knows the fit problems, OEM drivers side headlight plastic cover by battery need to be permanently removed, which is part of the air channel intake. Very poor corrosion protection of electrical connections, noted that some installers use a cutting wheel on the wire connector utilizing the OEM plug, however, corrosion / water seal is not good. Also the metal clip that hold the lenses covers on are loose/ defective (see Video). Buyer beware!!!! Product fit is very misleading.

I have a 2003 VW Jetta TDI with a 5 spd manual. These headlights are superb, aimed almost perfectly right out of the box and are wayyy brigther than the OEM halogen bulbs. I'm talking like "I have swallowed the sun and become GOD bright." It also greatly improves the look of the car, nobody loves a wimpy wimpy 2003 Jetta in factory silver. However, these babies, change the entire look and feel of the vehicle between the LED's, Halos, and projector lenses. Absolutely stunning, basically turns a jetta into an audi tt. Only problem is that for my particular vehicle, the lo beams come on as the DRL's, instead of the dedicated DRL's. The DRL's in turn, come on when you turn on the headlights. Hi Beams function normally. The pins for lo beams/DRL's are switched on the headlight plug but it doesn't bother me enough to remove them/cut/switch and solder the wires to the correct pins and reinstall. I would definitely buy again but I would double check the headlight harness on your model/year and make sure it matches to the correct pins on the headlight assembly. I got lucky, switching DRL's and lo beams is no big deal and doesn't affect drive-ability or safety. If anything, its beneficial because my headlights will always be on regardless. I only really have to use the headlight switch in the cabin to turn on high beams and my dash cluster.
