Quality and overall operation.
Works well and is a little heavy. When used with a camera cage and other accessories it adds to the load of unit and requires removing when you are making video using a power tilt and pan head on a tripod.

Works but big
Using it for a Ronin SC and this thing is chunky. It feels like it weighs about a quarter of what my camera weighs. With a gimbal the less weight the better.

Warning: Incompatible w/ Standard 80 mm Plates
I thought I had found the bargain of the century with the Niceyrig Universal Quick Release Tripod Plate Kit!For less than $50 on Prime Day, I couldn’t believe I was getting a Mini-RBQ for 1/8 the price of Wooden Camera’s equivalent!I received the item and was immediately impressed with the simple and robust locking mechanism—especially at this price! My only initial concern was the lack of a safety mechanism to prevent the lever from accidentally triggering. As I went to swap the included Niceyrig plate with the Sachtler Touch & Go 16 plate from my Video 20 head, I was immediately disappointed by the obvious incompatibility.A Sachtler 16/Mini Euro plate is about 65 mm W x 80 mm L. The dimensions of the Niceyrig plate are 54 mm W x 80 mm L.Unfortunately, information on the Niceyrig plate size is not made readily available, so I could only determine compatibility (or lack thereof) by actually purchasing the item. Why did they deviate from the industry standard 65 mm x 80 mm mini euro plate size? I’m not sure, but it’s very frustrating—especially when they market the item on their website as a “Touch and Go” Tripod Plate Kit.Will be returning this item and looking elsewhere for a true mini-RBQ system.
