The half umbrella is perfect. Nice color. Sturdy. Pre built.But it doesn't come with a stand so you have to pick your own. I had to cut off 3 inches off the umbrella poll to fit into my space to accommodate the stand, not a big deal.Overall it looks and feels great! It's a semi-permanent situation now.

This is a light weight umbrella. If you’re looking for maximum shade then maybe a darker color is right for you. I ordered the off white and it’s perfect for my needs. I needed some shade for my garden on the side yard and the space was too small for other umbrellas. This umbrella being a half umbrella is perfect. It’s well build. People that say it’s flimsy are likely referring to the cloth but it’s perfect for our southern Ca weather and provides the shade I need to keep my plants from burning up.

Absolutely perfect for my needs. Fits my small balcony and provides that extra bit of shade from the summer sun. It’s really well made! Was very easy to assemble and fits into any umbrella base you get off Amazon. Noiseless opening. It does make a clicking sound when closing -think that could be a normal locking feature for outdoor umbrellas. Do note, it’s not UV blocking. It doesn’t come with ties so I just added my own Velcro tape to keep it fully closed when not in use.

This umbrella is perfect for our apartment patio (9’ wide x 6’ deep). The crank works well and overall it feels sturdy. The only problem with this umbrella thus far is the lack of ties to keep it closed.Despite the lack of ties we are thinking of getting a second one to cover the rest of the patio.

WoW! Easy to assemble. Clever design. Mechanically sound. Attractive to the eye and an efficient sun blocker. I have a narrow porch off of my apartment.....the typical umbrella is just too big but this "semi" is perfect. It winds up and down with ease. It seems very stable and hardy.Two suggestions: 1) Get mini elastic lines to bind the umbrella in place when you close it. 2) Anchor it well. You do not get a stand with the umbrella so you have to design your own stabilizer. I attached the pole to the porch railing using cable ties. Seems to be working just fine.P.S. And it is very sharp looking. Quite satisfied.

Absolutely love this half umbrella. I use it for my apartment’s Juliet balcony which is a balcony without a porch. I bought a clamp thing with it to secure it to umbrella and balcony bar. Blocks the sun and rain so you can enjoy the view without the rain and sun glare. Built pretty strong for the wind and close umbrella when ever with the convient hand crank. Definitely recommend it for anyone.

Great design and affordable price. Umbrella material isn’t waterproof and everything under the umbrella gets wet. Does keep patio cleaner and great for sun protection! Wish it was waterproof material, would give 5 stars.

This is perfect for small spaces, fits perfect. Didn’t know they made umbrellas like this either. It’s easy to use and has been lasting as well.
