Trains - THOMAS & FRIENDS PERCY THE SMALL ENGINE w/Moving Eyes - HO Scale,unisex-children, Black, 0.5 Liters

I bought a replacement Bachmann Percy after my old one was experiencing problems with the eye mechanism. Upon disassembling and reassembling it, it started running roughly. This new one I ordered runs extremely smooth and has a smoother eye mechanism. Now I'm using my old one for spare parts. As always, great model from Bachmann.

Runs well and he is very small. Small small small, teeny weeny weeny. But he is a really useful engine

Opened the package, put it on the track, cranked the power and off it went! great low speed and reasonable high speed. not too fast, but fast enough that my kiddo is always on his toes. Great engine, will likely end up buying more engines from this line if they are anything like this one and the LBSC 70

i enjoy the thomas and friends series, so i bought percy. which was the first model engine i bought on amazon. i was happy with it overall, ran nice and looked fairly accurate. only flaw i would say is no front coupling, but can be added if needed.

My son who is 8 just loves the Thomas and Friends series they are really nice quality. He is very rough with his toys and these withstand his tough play. They are nicer then a lot of the electric trains we have purchased. I would recommend these to any Thomas and Friends fan.

My son was eager to add the Bachmann Percy train to his growing collection and promptly handed over saved allowance money to make this purchase (via Mom). He felt the price was right and he was very glad the train arrived on the date anticipated and it was exactly what he wanted and what was promised via the description and in the photo. Happy boy.

OMG - We bought my son an Electric Train Set for Christmas. The train that came with the set was broken. Of course on Christmas you can't return it - The kid wants the train set. So I came to Amazon to find a replacement. I did not realize I had bought "Percy" I was just getting an electric train. When my son opened the box - Ohhhhh keeeewl - Percy Percy - I have Percy the Train. "This is a Perfect Train". Thank you.

My 5 year old son loves trains of all kinds. We have a bund of O and HO, which he does very well with. These trains are pretty durable and withstand a child acting out train stories. From an educational standpoint, my son has learned how to build his own tracks. Such has, when building something other than a simple circle, he has learned how to select the correct pieces to close the loop. He has also learned how to connect up the electrical bits, under my supervision. Only thing to watch for is the moving eyes and whistle. Of the 6 O gauge loco's from the Thomas set, Percy's whistle didn't work. It took me a while to get around to doing anything about it, so I dealt directly with Lionel who swapped it for me. But... The Percy I received in exchange had some issues with the eyes moving. But that was fixed by me.
