LAMY LT52TQ Bottle Ink Turquoise

This is great ink to use with your fountain pens. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this ink and its characteristics on paper for the price. This ink has a lovely turquoise color and it has great shading properties! I have other inks from Iroshizuku, Pelikan Edelstein, and Robert Oster, which are also good inks, but cost much more than this Lamy ink. But, this Lamy ink performs as well or better than most of my other inks. I find that I always have a pen inked with this Lamy Turquoise. It is one of my favorites.

Not usually use the spring pen. However it last long enough to keep the quality!

I would think that all inks are pretty much equal but it is not true actually. Some are too watery, some have a nicer color after drying, some are not drying well, etc...I have a very nice Montblanc fountain pen which I forgot about with the time. It can be quite a hassle to use because fountain pens often leak, get your fingers inked up. Anyway, I exhumed it from his drawer recently because I decided to restart writing by hand as much as possible. On a side note, this needs practice and my handwriting was getting uglier by the days...So using a nice pen would be my encouragement to write by hand but I could not find my ink anymore.A quick search on Amazon and I chose the Lamy bottled ink after reading raving reviews.Anyway, I have now been using this pen and ink since a few weeks and I cannot say enough how pleased I am with it.My Montblanc fountain pen would tend to leak and it did at the beginning with this ink. Not anymore though.As well, the pen would tend to scratch the paper and the writing was far from fluid. Not anymore...In clear, this ink gives a very nice color, makes the writing very fluid and nice, dries well.I do not care much for the blotting paper because I do not refill every day and when I do, I use larger pieces of paper.In any case, five star worth!

This Lamy blue is a great blue. It is not dark and it is distinguishable enough from regular ball-point pen inkto appreciate. With that said, it is a tad muted blue but not washed out by any means.Having only tried it with a Lamy 2000 fine point, I could not discern a lot of shading, butit is there. In my pen, it dries almost as fast as I can write and with my favorite Hammermill28 lb copy paper there is no sign of feathering. I think with a medium or bold nib, thisink would really impress. I wouldn't rate it a wet or a dry ink, at least in a Lamy.The price on Amazon for this 50ml bottle is fair, though I have found it for less elsewhere(not including shipping). The bottle feels huge. Part of that reason is the included blottingpaper holder (which I tend not to use as I always have a paper towel at the ready). Thatpart comes off to reveal the well designed shape of the bottle which includes a small reservoirfor extracting that last drop.This is a dependable ink that you should probably add to your collection.

I like this ink very much, the color appeals to me and writing with my fine-point Lamy pen is very smooth. However you need to remember that it's a WASHABLE ink. That's why it doesn't clog the pen. The down side is that any water getting on the page will smear what you've written. And like any fountain-pen ink, it works well only on a coated paper so the ink doesn't sink in. That means you should choose paper intended for ink-jet printers.

O produto é ótimo. A cor é excelente para usar no dia a dia. É um azul mais escuro que a tinta que veio na LAMY, mas muito bonito. Diria que é uma tinta elegante. Flui muito bem no bico F. Tem uma viscosidade excelente, fluindo muito bem no papel 90g e secando de forma rápida e uniforme.Quanto à entrega, bem, demorou bastante e a caixa do volume estava violada e o produto estava fora da embalagem e bastante empoeirado.Pro produto, nota máxima.Pra entrega, nota zero. A embalagem violada foi culpa da transportadora, não necessariamente do vendedor.

Cannot complain.

The Lamy blue is simply wonderful, the best for my fountain pen.The joy of seeing that shade running on a page talks by itself: it's brilliant, vivid and and sparkles happiness on each page.The bottle allows me to save the use of plastic and it's made in glass. So even my "need for green" is satisfied.
