Magic Eraser Original Cleaning Pads with Durafoam, Pack of 6

What a wonderful product. I’ve heard a story that this material was invented for a completely different purpose and then they discovered that it could actually be used to remove marks from walls and other things. Amazing. What an absolute wonder. Love this. Just be careful to blend in to the surroundings if you’re cleaning a large area. While the results are invisible for small marks, larger areas can look a bit too clean so blend, blend, blend to ensure a nice result. Good price, and looks like it’ll last for ages too as you only need a small piece of it each time.

Before these I had only purchased unbranded magic sponges from amazon, and they hardly removed anything. I was wondering what all the fuss was about. And then I decided to buy the original sponges, and what a difference! They really work like magic. I have removed every stain I've attempted to from all kinds of surfaces (it even removed paint!) and all with minimal effort. The stains just lift right off. I only wish they were a little cheaper as they do disintegrate quite quickly. Other than that, they are still a household essential that I couldn't be without.

Got these after watching a YouTube video about how to address faded trim on a car. I've just bought a second hand Ford puma which I love, but the driver side must have been left in direct sunlight a lot by the previous owner and the driver side panel between the front and rear seats had some fade marks. Had tried something called Autoglym which did reduce the fade, but didn't remove it and reviews suggest that only has a temporary effect. So I got some of these Mr Clean pads which I used with some warm water after getting my car hand cleaned at the car wash. The results are fantastic, and the trim looks like new. The pad I used stood up well as that was a flat surface, but I then also used the same pad to bring the white part of some deck shoes back to a good condition. Again, the stains removed really well, but rubbing the pad around the edge of the shoes caused a bit to break off. All in all, these are amazing, but do wonder what they are coated with to have this effect when other products fail.

The sponges work well but it's important to know how they work and be realistic: they are micro scourers so they work by taking off a layer rather than dissolving something as a detergent would. Try a detergent first then try these. For paintwork, shiny tiles etc you have to be quite gentle to avoid scratching off paintwork and varnish. They're also not meant to be long-lived so for a small area you can just cut the sponges into quarters or less (pointy triangles can cover/get into smaller areas) and use those pieces damp. Expect to get a single use out of a small piece of the sponge.

Excellent product to get scuff marks off walls and pencil marks.

Really good for cleaning hard surfaces. Have used them all around the house.

Rubbish waste of hard earned money. Breaks up into crumbly pieces when even slight pressure applied.stain removal? No!!

This corner was years worth of coloured pencil/crayon. Took me 1 hour and 6 sponges. Brilliant.

In my case, I'll be using it to clean the shower walls, where black mold often builds up due to the trapped moisture. I hope it proves useful, and I'll let you know in another comment if it works.
