I absolutely love these products. I was buying these from the maker off an ad i saw on Facebook. Found it easier to add to my Amazon cart while doing the rest of my shopping. I have used the blue,green,fabric softner,and the dishwasher detergent that I guess is no longer offered. :( No issues and clothes are getting clean and smell great.

It’s a great option if you wash tons of clothes. It lasted about a year. I highly recommend to add a pump to make it easy to use.

I tried this product as a lower cost option to higher-priced detergents. We have been using a private label brand of one of the large, "quantity" stores and we have been pleased with that option. This was a good opportunity to try something new. I've now run 5 loads of laundry, looking for qualities that one would like in a laundry detergent - cleans well, cuts through grease, removes smells and stains, etc... Here's what I found: 1. I ran a new set of navy blue bed sheets (Amazon basics https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Q7OB4EE/ref=twister_B00U8QEXBS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) with a white rag. The colors ran a little, but then the white rag cleaned back to white in the next load. The overall color loss in the sheets was minimal/expected. 2. I ran used bed sheets and pillowcases through a cycle. There are a lot of body oils on them that lead to strong smells, especially in the pillowcases. This detergent washed much of them out. Equal to how clean my normal detergent worked. The only better solution I've found to thoroughly solve that problem is to soak in a combination of white vinegar, detergent and dish soap. This laundry detergent did no better or no worse than our normal detergent. 3. I ran work clothes with grease stains, a blotch of WD-40, and various everyday stains on them. They did not come out completely (I've attached photos of this.) I will need to use a laundry booster along with the detergent in the future. 4. I wanted to see the results of a whites load without bleach. This detergent cleaned admirably. Socks smelled fresh, most everyday stains came out - but there was nothing too hard to tackle like grass stains, - undershirts smelled fresh. This was a clean load. Overall, I am quite pleased with this product. It is equal to the name brands of detergent most commonly used. I gave it only 4 stars for the following reasons: 1. A downside for me is that the huge size of the tub. We normally put the dispenser in the cupboard right above the washer and the spout feeds directly into the wash basin. This tub needs to sit on the floor. I will need to rethink that part - maybe put it up on a cube for better ergonomics. 2. This tub comes with a large pump, but no measuring cup. It does have directions on the barrel of how much to add to your load. I have kept old plastic detergent cap/cups so this was not a problem. So keep an old one before you toss out your current detergent bottles. I used a Sharpie to mark on the cup 1/8th cup and 1/4 cup once I measured it with water and my kitchen measuring cups. 3. The pump wiggles a bit. It sits in a rubber-like flange and moves a little as you pump. There is a screw collar on the pump that seals it to the hole, but it will move a bit. This might be so you will have control over the liquid as it reaches the bottom. I'm not sure. Still, it functions and that's important. 4. And this is a unique reason not applicable to all people. I am a particular person and I know this. I like my laundry area to be clean. (We don't have children living at home anymore, so this affords us that possibility. LOL) The pump drips a little, so over time, I see that detergent will build up and make a small mess. I tried to tame it with a paper towel underneath, but that will need replacing often. So far, I made sure the pump faces into the center of the bucket to drip on the lid and not the floor. This product was provided to me at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I have tried to be as open to both positive and negative aspects. I've been using the original blue formula version of this product for a couple years now. This is the second time I've been highly impressed as one cycle through the wash removed stains I originally anticipated had ruined shirts. Once a load of shirts came out of dryer with red marks all over because a gel pen had been missed and broke open in the dryer. Red inks marks everywhere and surely set in by drying. Rewashed the shirts with an extra squirt of this detergent and completely removed. Just recently I moved equipment at work that I didn't realize had a greasy part exposed. Dark greasy stains on shirt wouldn't come out despite washing in sink at work immediately after contact. Wash 12 hours later with a squirt and a pre-treat of this stuff and can't tell which of two shirts is the one that got grease on it. With bucket near washer and a pump, I just hold the end of the pump hose over the washer and pump a squirt into washer. Easy. Yes I'm a sucker for the bulk buy. About two years into this bucket, and I suspect I can go another decade or more before I'll need to replenish. This might literally be the last laundry detergent I ever buy.

I was a hardcore Gain user for decades. I used the powder mostly because it doesn't get gunky in the cup as with liquid and I didn't have a sink like I do now. I had to stop because I'm furious with inflation and it no longer dissolved in all temperature settings like it used to. I searched for other brands and even made my own with Zote. Nothing gripped me like Gain until now. I do laundry every day, sometimes twice. It's not the average laundry because I have 4 dogs that are seniors with health issues. Judge if you must, but they have accidents during the night because their bladders aren't what they used to be so we remedy this with reusable giant absorbant pads that we also used for whelping/puppies. I wash urine soaked pads every single day. With Gain I could smell urine in the laundry room as it was washing on warm setting it was so disgusting. Even with bleach I smelled it. A half cup of this laundry detergent and no smells, only clean scent. It also does great with light fecal stains on the pads - without bleach! I'm just blown away. For normal human soil, it's great! My boyfriend works in television and must wear makeup daily and I'm a chick who wears a full face of makeup to bed because I'm lazy. It does an ok job getting the makeup out but we would recommend a pretreater for full effects. There's just some things you can't expect an all in one solution for but it does compliment the solutions we have in place for the tougher stuff! Also, the pump is awesome if you apply it right. Anyone who reviewed the pump as inadequate probably didn't install it correctly. Go to YouTube and see how it's done if unsure.

Damaged-Received it and the bucket was cracked on the bottom and soap was all on the inside of the box and dripping off the bucket. I had it outside and then had to haul it inside to take picture to get a credit. It was a mess and recommendation is the bucket be a better quality so this doesn't happen again. The only thing I can rate for the soap is that it does smell good. I am going to reorder it and give it one more try.
