Quality, Looks, and Accessories
We replaced an old ceramic double sink and really like the large, single-bowl style. My wife wasn’t sure she wanted the single bowl but quickly realized how much more functional it is. She loves it now. Being in the remodeling business, I ordered the brand and guage we use, Kraus 16-gauge stainless. We have trusted Kraus for 20+ years and have never, to my knowledge, been disappointed. When researching, I saw some comments about other cheaper brands’ stainless finish starting to rust or stain after a short while. I’m grateful for those reviews. The dual-mount style can be installed as a drop-in (top-mount) or under-mount. This was important because we will redo our counters and cabinets in the future, and I want to use the same sink to save money when that time comes. The sink was quite easy for two people to install. We like the look. It added a nice modern look to our kitchen. My wife liked how Kraus designed the sink strainer with a large stainless disc that covers the black rubber of the garbage disposal guard all the time. It gives the sink a clean, finished look. The cutting board and the drying rack were the bonus. We keep the cutting board nearby and use it frequently. It saves counter space—very helpful in our small kitchen. The drying rack is useful for saving space, too. We keep it on the sink at all times and roll it up toward the side when we need the full sink bowl.I would definitely recommend the sink. The Kraus reputation, the look and feel of quality, the tasteful design, and the accessories made it the perfect deal for us.P.S. After a few weeks of use, we found that the sink cleans very quickly, too.

Beautiful but defective
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It’s a beautiful sink. It looks well built. Hired an experienced plumber to install it. After spending hours to trim my counter top to fit and drill additional hole for my water filter, we discovered that it wouldn’t fit on the countertop evenly. It looked like it’s warped. The right front corner inner side has a bent. Don’t know it’s due to shipment or manufacturing error. So disappointed. Wasted time and money. The replacement sink is beautiful and perfect.

So much space and utility - undermount option
Have had it installed for a little over a week now and I love how easy it makes kitchen chores. Washing a large pan or heavy crock pot is so simple now. I added a roll-out dish rack (also from Kraus) and now those large pots and pans can dry without taking up space in the sink or on the counter too.The garbage disposal is quieter now when using the solid drain cover. I only need to remove it to dump coffee grounds. Small waste still flows easily into the drain while the cover is in place. The look of the sink with the cover in place is also much improved.I've used the chopping board once, and having it directly over the drain is a convenience I didn't know I needed. I normally use my chopping board in "landscape" mode, so the orientation is off for me, but I'll get used to it.I've only bothered to wipe the sink down once, with a dry sponge. It removed the spots without using cleaner. Probably will continue that at regular weekly intervals.I upgraded from a two-bowl sink with garbage disposal, so having only the center-mounted garbage disposal with this sink freed up a ton of space underneath in the cabinet. I was able to put all of the items I had under there previously, plus the two new accessories (chopping board and drainer).Having the right tools and an occasional second pair of hands is essential if installing yourself. I had to test fit the new sink several times to ensure proper alignment with the existing cut-outs in the countertop, and to mark holes in the new sink for the faucet and air gap cover. I then had to drill the stainless steel with the appropriate-sized carbide tipped hole saw. Fortunately, the hole placement wasn't impacted much by the steel rails mounted under the sink edges. Drilling through those would have been more difficult.I'm very happy with how it all came together and with how the sink performs. It's well designed, highly functional, and looks great.

Good sink with a few designs flaws
The bottom of the sink has discoloured where the rack pads are on the bottom of the rack. The corners are so square it is hard to get dirty out of the corners of the sink. The dry rack is great. Water is slow to drain out of the sink, as it is very flat. I like it, but there are some improvements that are needed. The quality of the sink is good, the covers for the drain is not, they are cheap.

Perfect for kitchens without dishwasher
This is a beautiful sink. The instructions for the strainer are very terse, so beginners should call tech support or find some video tutorials. The installation.is relatively easy, especially with the included templates. I don’t have a dishwasher, so this system works great for my kitchen!

Hard to keep clean due to poor drainage slope toward the drain.
After over 4 months of daily use I can with certainty state that I am very un-satisfied with this sink. It is very hard to keep clean due to the very shallow pitch toward the drain, the flat bottom and sharp corners. Debris accumulate easily and do not drain towards the drain, they just settle on the bottom making every task involve water sweeping. Do not think that it will solve the problem if you have a detachable sweep spray faucet, that is what I have. Of course if you just let food debris accumulate, that would not only be disgusting and foul, but it will harden and stick, then you will have a very hard job to clean it out. That means each and every time you use it, you will be water sweeping it out, which is time consuming, wastes lots of water, and splashes to wipe up.My advise:Buy a model that has good slope toward the drain and rounded not square corners. I can't believe that any engineer would design a sink in such a way, I totally hate this sink in every possible way. It takes me literally 10x as long to keep clean than my old cheap, small, shallow depth sink. Many other reviews say the same thing, I should have listened!
