These are nice and thick and seem well made. For the money, these are great wool socks! Have purchased several sets over the past year. Several given to fellow camping enthusiasts as gifts. Seems to be wearing well. Personally, I don't do anything special as far as laundering... They get thrown in with everything else.

Comfortable. Fit well. Good elastic. Haven't had them long enough to comment on durability.

These are nice and thick and seem well made. That being said, when washed (yes, following directions) they do tend to fray a bit. That said, it would be many, many washings before you would see these get thin. For the money, these are great wool socks!

I love these socks. I have some DarnTough and SmartWool, but these are just as good at a fraction of the price. In fact they may be even better. They seem thicker and more moisture proof. I wish you could buy these at Costco but they seem discontinued. Still, you can get a 4 pack here for half the price of a DarnTough pair.

I am sad to say that these socks don't stand out the way they are touted on youtube and hiking boards. They are a lose knit with larger wool fibers that make them very, very itchy. Nothing like other, higher quality, merino wool socks. In fact, they don't feel any more comfortable than basic surplus wool socks. If you are looking for a non-itchy, smooth merino wool, this isn't it.As for sizing, they fit really, really snug. It says 7-13 and I am a 10.5 and they are just too tight.They also started fraying after a few washes, but noticeably so.Anyway, they are a budget sock and as such I think they perform but they do not live up to the hype surrounding them. If you know what you are getting going in and are okay with a more open knit wool (it doesn't make you itch) then these will be a fine alternative at a lower price. But if you need to avoid that itch (like me) try something else.
