soft rubber tears very easily.
I got tired of picking my regular cane up off the floor multiple times a day, so went shopping to see what was available in standing canes. After it arrived, I was initially a little disappointed when I realized that the cane wobbles a bit when you stand it up on it's own. Then I walked with it and realized that there is a bit of shape to the bottom to allow the foot to rock a bit when you are moving - this allows for more agility. Love the colour and yes, as per other reviewer comments, the Hugo logo is rather prominent. If it bothers me, I suppose I could put something over to personalizemy cane. This cane provides more stability for me when walking and I notice I am moving faster. I find that I am much less likely to lose my balance with this cane as well. Very satisfied.UPDATE: NO LONGER SATISFIED! I had to replace this cane as the rubber foot tore within a month of purchase. They sent a replacement cane on Feb 26. At the End of June, the baffles holding the rubber foot to the cane ended up wearing out and now the foot slides up the cane and this functions just like a regular cane with no foot now! Unfortunately the return window closed on April 29. So the first cane lasted a month, the second 4 months. I now need to buy another cane! As I cannot walk quickly or far, and turn like a ship - very slowly - it is unlikely it is user related. On a VERY good day, I walk 3,000 steps. Usually its more like 1,500. I do NOT recommend!Second update: I'm still using the cane - eventually bought another foot. I've been using it for 11 months and the handle, while soft and comfortable, is wearing out!

Good cane with extra stability
Great cane for the days when I need extra stability. The Quad Pod foot is really good without taking up too much space, and the tapered edges make for a more fluid step through without the cane catching on the pavement. It did come slightly askew, but all I needed was an Allen key and I was able to fix that before tightening it back up again. The price here on Amazon was a song compared to the mobility aid store here in town. Very glad I found it here.

Ease and Ability
I ordered this cane to use while recovering from a trimaellor fracture on my ankle. Took a few days to get used to walking with the feet on the cane but this cane is fabulous! Great to use, works well on the snow/ice (obviously you still need to be cautious) and is such a huge blessing! Did a lot of research for canes and I chose this one as it doesn’t fold up! I needed a sturdy cane and this is it!!!

At the ready cane
The standup feet are such a bonus. My Mom had a cane she never used but that has changed now as the cane is always at the ready.Seems well made and relatively lightweight.
