I love the Altec Lansing brand of speakers. I've purchased 6 or 7 different portable speakers so far and everything I've gotten has been top of the line. These portable speakers are my go to when one of my kids needs a birthday present for a friend. All of their friends have raved about the speakers. My 15 year old even had one of his friends say that he definitely wanted one when his birthday came around, in 6 months. 🤣🤣 I got this little gem for myself when my other portable speaker flew out of the boat and sank like a rock. The sound quality is wonderful with clear audio and nice bass. It's got great volume with the 360 degree sound and it's even got a speaker on the top for extra sound. I love that it's "Everything-Proof" - IP67 waterproof, snowproof, dustproof, and shockproof. The carrying handle is a nice addition, especially when we take it out on the boat. It makes it easy to clip onto a carabiner, so we don't have to worry about it flying out of the boat. I'm loving my new speaker and I'm happy that I chose this model. I'd HIGHLY recommend this speaker and pretty much all of the speakers from Altec Lansing.

Received the item and charged it according to instructions, with the included cable. 2-3 hours until the red light goes out. Pressed the on button for a few seconds to pair with my phone. No problem. So far. Turn on Bluetooth on phone, it finds the speaker no problem. So far. Link phone and speaker. Speaker shows 100% charged on Bluetooth app, no problem. So far. Open my music player. Play some music two to 3 seconds later it drops out. Look at Bluetooth app. Speaker keeps dropping the link. Problem! I redo all the above steps. Same issue. Grab my earbuds which are also Bluetooth. Play just fine. Borrow a friend's portable speaker. It plays just fine.So 50 bucks for a non working item. Needless to say, I it's now on its journey back to the warehouse. Obviously a lemon. But for the fraction of a second it worked, it wasn't loud at all. So quiet in fact , that my next portable speaker will NOT be an Altec Lansing.

Easy to use. Easily connects to our phones and sound quality is nice. Wish it was a bit louder is my only complaint.

It produces a good deep tone for a compact speaker. Battery life is very good and it shuts itself down automatically after use. Only downside are the controls on the outside of the unit are black with a black background, a bit hard to read at times.
