Q: Can this work on polyester

Yes, They worked great ! I've washed my work pants many times and they stayed on. It beats buying a new pair.I just used a razor "for right size" and an iron. I hope this helped.

Q: Has anyone used this on Nylon? I have a Nylon down jacket with a tear on the inside. Aesthetic don't matter, just want to know if it sticks to nylon

I used it to patch a 100% nylon (jacket) shell, and it is holding up beautifully. Sticks for sure.

Q: How big is the patch? Dimensions would be helpful, Medium tells me nothing.

The round one is about 3"-3 1/2" across and the rectangular one was about 2 1/2"x5" - maybe a little more. Hope this helps.

Q: How thick are they? I have a light rain coat with a small hole I would like to repair, will it show through the fabric when done as a raised bumb?

They are fairly thin. I used it to cover a hole in my Gore jacket. The patch is the same material as the jacket and since both are black you can barely notice it. If your jacket is made out of Gore it should work fine and I would assume that the only issue would be to match the color. I guess if your jacket is of a lighter material it might create a bit of a bump.
