I actually bought this because we identified a small area where rodents were coming into our storage shed. This pretty bird sits right kitty corner to that spot and now chirps anytime one of the critters comes close. It’s perfect. The sensor is set for anything that passes close and the bird song is nice!! We haven’t had any critters nibbling in our storage since we got this bird lol

This sounded really nice once it was on but the on/off switch didn’t work that great and we had to smack the bottom of it to get it started.
