Great bit of kit and such a relief for aching neck.
Super handy bit of kit for hikes with any kind of slr camera with a chunk of glass on it. Good amount of regulation - i had it on paper thin foldable backpack arms as well as on proper chunky padded hiking ones. Makes the camera easier to reach, safer to transport (no flailing around the neck or under arm), you can put it sideways if you have a zoom with scope creep issues, and provides huge relief to neck ache. I usually have the neck strap on just in case, but so far never had the camera disconnect on accident, even with knocks on branches or random backpack/belt pulls. It really stays in place and releases super easy when you need it to at a press of a button. It's actually smaller that I expected it to be having experience with other brands, but does weigh a bit which lends to a secure, sturdy feel. Well happy with it after almost a year and a half now, and a good amount of hikes in various climates, dry, wet, hot and cold.

An awesome camera clip for run and gun photography
This is another one of those 'Why didn't I buy one sooner?' accessories. It wont make you a better photographer but will make your photography better (or rather easier). I first tried a different (cheaper and nastier) make of camera clip several years ago and I hated it because the plate kept jamming in the clip. It was strong enough to hold anything I hung from it, but the hassle of almost twisting my arm off to release the camera from my shoulder strap - or taking off the entire bag in frustration whilst trying not to damage my camera - made me regret the purchase. Fast forward five years and countless missed photo opportunities because my camera was inside my bag as I walked, I decided to look again at camera clips because my photography is changing to include longer hikes and less tripod use (especially seeing as how IBIS now provides greater potential for handheld shooting). I couldn't justify the cost of similar products from Peaky Designers, but the PGYTECH Beetle was 30% cheaper and well reviewed, so I took the plunge. Awesome decision. It's well made with a sleek anodised finish, and it's effortlessly simple to clip onto my shoulder strap without the need to fiddle with mounting screws (which cause much of the jamming I experienced previously). I especially like the locking mechanism to prevent accidental release, but if you mount the clip correctly so your camera slides in from above then it shouldn't fall out unless you're hanging upside down (bungee jumping photographers beware!). The camera plate is Arca-Swiss compatible for ball head mounting, and you can also buy additional plates and a quick release clamp which mounts to tripods, allowing you to transfer your camera from shoulder to tripod in less time that it takes you to say it. I won't be suspending a heavy wildlife lens from this thing even though it claims to hold up to 30kg, but it's held my Z8 and 24-120 without any concerns at all (although I also attach a wrist strap from the camera to a carabiner as a means of secondary retention just in case). It's comfortable, durable and has so far held up to a variety of hikes through mountains, forests and beaches. And yes I've been able to capture fleeting moments as I stroll along, which has made my photography much more enjoyable. I'd heartily recommend this item to anyone.

Expensive but soooooo useful.
I don't know why these clips (not just this pgytech one, but in general) are so expensive. I put off getting one for ages because of the price, so just used my neck strap and/or bag, which work fine, but this makes it so much easier to just slot your camera away to free up your hands and quickly get it ready again when you need it. Assuming you have a halfway decent backpack, it's going to be a lot more comfortable to use this than your neck strap. The camera doesn't sway about knocking into things, it's nice and secure out of the way. I love using it, to the point that I sometimes take my backpack when I don't really need it. This Pgytech clip is a bit cheaper than a lot of the competitors and is much easier to unclip and reclip to a different strap when needed which is a massive bonus for me. Recommended.

Top piece of kit.
This is a top piece of kit for helping to distribute the weight while carrying your slr during shoots or hiking. It gives you hands free walking while maintaining quick easy access. At first I thought this was expensive, however upon receiving it I quickly recognised the quality of its engineering and build. It has adjustable settings and will fit nearly all back pack harnesses, and this is so easily done within a couple of secure clicks. The connection housing is universal and screws into the bottom of your slr. Fitting the camera to the beetle clip on your harness is a size slide lock which gives a nice resounding click when housed, and has a quick button release when you wish to access your camera. When it is in situ, attached to your harness, the weight is so well distributed that you don't notice it. Over all this is a top piece of kit.

Absolutely worth it - rock solid and safe.
I was initially sceptical about dropping £50 on one of these clips. I have tried the Peak Design one in the past, and just didn't feel comfortable with it. Very happy to report it has been rock solid in terms of grip, even (although not pictured) with a Fujifilm XH2s and XF 16-55mm f2.8 it didn't move or slip once in 8hrs days walking round Florence, Rome and Barcelona. And that is a pretty heavy camera and lens combo as my shoulder knows well (Pictured is the smaller XE3 with XF 56mm.) I really like the quick lock too, giving some extra piece of mind that your precious camera and glass is safe. My only downside is I found another square arca swiss plate I had (can't remember if it was PD or 3rd party wasn't *quite* the right fit, so I ended up buying an additional QR plate. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for leisure or professional use. I was wary at first but very satisfied with it.

Trasmette sicurezza. ✅ Sistema a sgancio rapido: Super pratico.

Sturdy and well built. Has a quick release mechanism for the camera. Would fit most straps I think unless they are very bulky.
