Let me start by saying I'm shocked they had enough dna to test it on the first try! I thought I didn't get enough on the swab but said, let's give it a go... if i have to try it again, I'll be better at it and it'll give my cat some time to forget about it.Well it worked! Just got my results!!The most important part is her health results. She is a carrier for a disorder but otherwise came up clear for everything. That peace of mind, regardless of its positive result in this case, is invaluable.It also got her colors right. She has 2 genes of dilution, 1 of color point, and 2 of solid color. Her ancestry is mostly American Domestic.She is a gray burmese looking baby. Her gray is considered "blue" (dilution), but she has very faint tabby stripes in the light. I also only just realized that her tail is darker than the rest of her fur, hitting the color point! I never saw in until I read this test and saw her in the light.Getting her appearance right gives me a sense that the test got her health right. And that's really what this test is about for me. I can see what she looks like, I don't need them to tell me what she probably looks like. But it was right!

this was great now we know our cat is something special he is part Norwegian Forest Cat, and part Scottish Fold cat, as well as 17% Lykoi. Thus his nice big bushy tail and big paws and very angled ears. We though he might be part Manx and part Maine Coon , but no neither of those 2. So we got a mixed cat 2ith 3 very interesting blood lines. Howe we got a Norwegian Forest Cat here in the us is a mystery as well as the Scottish Fold. We are thinking somebody brough them over for a cat show and they got busy and had kittens who were turned out because they were not full blooded.

This kit was easy and I got the results right on time, which were surprisingly easy to understand!! Definitely recommend! I’m totally going to order more!

From the time I mailed kit till the results took a little over two weeks, very fast. Seems accruate. Said my cat is tabby and white with long hair. Breeds were 79% american domestic, 11% ragdoll and 5% norwegian forest cat. Fits since her fur is super soft and I saw her mom who is domestic shorthair. Results show blood type and test for 49 health conditions. It was only wrong on eye color, no blue eyes.

My cat's dna is pretty weird. She is a stubby, chubby, long-haired kitty with a touch of Sphynx dna. Those kitties are long & lean & naked! The other results were a bit of a surprise, too. Maine Coon? She's not a big girl.

Save your money for cat toys cat food with real ingredients and vet visits.Said our cat was 100% domestic but you can tell by the triangular shapeof her head, her profile and her medium long coat that she has a fair amount of norwegian forest cat.It was comforting to see she was "clear" of DNA inherited disease tendencies but that could be inaccurate as well. Supposedly type "A" blood but I'd rely on the vet for that since the wrong type in the event she needs a transfusion could be dangerous.She's a rescue and a luv bug so we just wanted more info.

I got two of these for both of my cats, and it was fun and very interesting as well as I got some important insight into their health, as well as their ancestry. The results came faster than anticipated, and they were excellent communicators.

This is absolutely amazing ; not only told us my cat’s breed , but also information and diseases that run in the breed . They even tested my cat for specific diseases . We did this because my cat was having major vomiting . Turns out his particular breed has a sensitive stomach and needs high quality cat food . As long as we buy him high quality grain free wet cat food he is healthy and happy . Thank you wisdom panel !
