Quite expensive
I use this to make homemade artisanal ice creams, it gives good silky, smooth and stabilized texture.. I like this item though its quite expensive..

This cannot be IOTA Carrageenan
I have been using the same recipe for my jello soap & never any issues with it firming up in the moulds. This was my first time trying this particular brand. Biggest mistake. It does not firm up. True iota carrageenan does. Complete waste of money and all failed unmoldings. Switched back to my usual brand & zero issues.

Product has a strong smell upon opening
The package of iota carrageenan has a very strong smell when the package is opened. I decided not to use for recipes because of that and buy a more recognized brand next time. This was cheaper, but not really, if you can't even use it. Will use for crafting instead.
