Q: How far apart ar the splice / seams? Is it a random distance or same distance, each splice? Wondering if I can run an 8' length without a splice ?

I ran four 8 ft lengths and only had one seam and ten 3ft lengths with two seams. I used almost two rolls.

Q: Could I apply this to painted orange peel drywall?

i wouldn't apply to a painted surface it wont adhere as well

Q: can i use this product on a surface of floral foam

You are not going to be able to iron on the veneer to the floral foam. I just do not see that going well. I think a strong adhesive would work, like super glue or liquid cement or liquid nail but the adhesive on the back of the veneer would have to be heated up to such a degree that I think it would melt the floral foam before the adhesive had time to get soft and adhere to the foam.
