My forehead always looks AMAZING after Botox
My 'hooded' eyelids are not a year-round problem -- but they're most noticeable for the first month or two after I've had Botox injections in my forehead. I think they call it 'heavy brow', where your brows (which you can't lift because you just had the muscles paralyzed by Botox) create added weight to your upper eyelids and pull them down a bit. My forehead always looks AMAZING after Botox, but I have to fiddle around with eyebrow pencil, eye shadow and mascara to make my eyes appear larger for a few months until the Botox wears off to the point where my eyebrow muscles begin to move again. I hate wearing any kind of makeup -- a touch of tinted moisturizer is all I have the patience to deal with. But my droopy-looking eyes needed help (just had Botox again a few weeks ago). And then I stumbled on to a video on YouTube about Eye Magic Instant Eye Lift. It certainly made me curious and I ordered a box of the little eyelid tapes that day. My package of Eye Magic arrived yesterday and I had planned on taking the time to practice the application process this weekend. I got a late start this morning and was running late for work, but my curiosity got the best of me and I opened the package. I'd already seen a few videos instructional videos on YouTube on how to properly apply the eye lift tape -- but I'd also read reviews saying that these were very difficult to apply. So, I jumped right in -- and got the right placement the very first time! Instant MAGIC!!! The tape is virtually invisible -- even to me! And the LIFT is . . . well . . . a real eye opener! I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy Eye Magic Instant Eye Lift and I highly recommend it. Watch a few videos on YouTube -- some of them are NOT glowing recommendations for this product, but several of them ARE. Educate yourself. Know what to expect first -- then make your purchase.

Eye Magic Disappointed
I really wanted this product to work. And it does work as far as fixing my drooping eyelid -looked great. The only problem is that you can see the patch. I tried it under makeup, over makeup, placing it in different locations. I used almost a whole box experimenting. Wore them anyway to see if anyone would notice. Took my son with me to work and of course he kept asking me what was on my eye. I tried to shush him, but then he started asking my co-workers if they noticed anything on my eyes. It was not good.

My eyes looked great for the event
A couple of years ago, I had a makeup artist use slivers of scotch tape on my eyelids to lift my droopy lids. My eyes looked great for the event. I tried to use the scotch tape technique myself but just couldn't get it to work. One day while I was looking for something on Amazon, Eye Magic Instant Eye lift popped up. I couldn't wait to try them! I was a little concerned that I wouldn't be able to position them properly because of my previous attempts using scotch tape, but they worked beautifully! Easy to apply, easy to adjust and the best part is they REALLY lift droopy lids (ok, the results are not like a surgical eye lift, but let's have realistic expectations). They also stay on for several days, if you're careful. I actually texted a photo of my eyes to my girlfriends, one eye with the Eye Magic Lift tape on and one eye without it. They were amazed and asked me for a photo of the product. They're all ordering them! I use them all the time now and am very happy to share information about this product. They are an easy, low cost and painless little trick to help my eyes and ultimately me look a little younger.

Eye magic isn't perfect, but it does temporarily correct the problem without ...
These are not entirely invisible and they are extremely overpriced. I have fair skin and one drooping eyelid. When I close my eye, you can definitely see the tape up close. That being said, if I wear it overnight, or for a few hours before I leave the house in the morning, I can take it off and my eye will retain the normal appearance for many hours afterward (don't wash off the sticky residue). I have used the cheap Asian double-sided tape in the past. Eye magic is only sticky on one side and works differently. The Asian double-sided tape folds into the eyelid to form a new crease, and unlike Eye Magic, it IS invisible - but after wearing it, it actually seems to create even greater drooping and stretching of the eyelid. Eye magic isn't perfect, but it does temporarily correct the problem without making it worse in the long term. The gel included in the box doesn't seem to be necessary.

Not much difference and hard to use
I’m not saying they don’t work, but I had a very hard time putting them on and finally gave up .

YOU NEED GOOD EYES FOR THESE!
When I received this item, I was surprised that it was all enclosed in a tiny envelope, and that the product was basically a length of paper with hard-to-see stickers attached. Although the concept is easily grasped, the product is not. With tweezers, if you can see well enough, you can extract tiny crescents of adhesive, which, once you get them in the right place (?) help to momentarily lift your droopy eyelids. The problem is that it's hard to even see these little slivers, much less to apply them successfully. They're just tiny pieces of tape. In a way it's brilliant - it must cost just pennies to manufacture these, so the profit must be substantial. Of course, cheaper than surgery, but much less effective!I guess I'll continue to go on droopy-eyed until I win the lottery.

These little buggers actually work!
I cannot believe these things work. I was shocked. They really aren't that hard to put on, if you place them deep in the crease of your eye. I still can't quite figure out how they work, but I think they flatten out that area so that the extra skin sinks deeper into the crease, creating the illusion of a lift. Hard to describe. Can you see them? Ehhhh... a teeny bit. But only if you're REALLY looking. Sweep a bit of neutral shadow underneath and you're good to go. I use them on one eye only because I have a unilateral lid lag. I wish I could post a before and after for you because it definitely looks better. An awesome alternative to surgery (I'm not ready for that). I plan to use these pretty much every day as a part of my makeup routine. If you're struggling with them, dont give up. Pull your lid taught (pull up from under your brow), place the top arch of the strip deep into the crease, the highest point of the arch should match the highest point of the arch of your eyebrow. Smooth out the rest and then leave it alone. If you can feel it, you've done it wrong. All in all, I'm pleased. Message me if you want clarification on application. I'm happy to help!

Don't waste your money
Worthless, don't spend your money. They are almost impossible to remove from the sheet and they do not work.
