Q: Can I get in the beach and swim with no worries? That it wont stick away or have an awkward/uncomfortable moment?

I haven't been swimming in one yet but I have to stay they stay in place until you peel the sticker off.

Q: Not looking for anything fancy or fashionable but does this work for an elderly person with kind of irregular, bit swallon belly button shape?thx!!

It's wide enough at the top to accommodate most every situation. It's only $7.00 so it worth a try. If it works you can reuse it for a while. Instructions in package will help you use and reuse properly. Hope this helps and good luck!

Lol, yes I suppose they can be easily removed. There is no adhesive unless you add it. You could just pop into the bathroom, take it out and put it in your purse or something.
