2 Adhesive Patches & Sensor Cover for Dexcom G6 CGM Transmitter Guard (Black)

I've been using these for a couple of months to protect my Dexcom G6, but mostly to be able to change the outer patch without affecting the sensor. I can "stretch" a fixic G6 patch over this frame and put it over the sensor and when it starts getting ratty (maybe 5-6 days in), I can leave the sensor but remove the frame and outer patch and put a new one on.

This is excellent it covers my Dexcomg6 in place and it stays perfectly in place. I will be buying more.

This does what it is intended to do. It does add bulk which is kind of annoying, but it does keep your dexcom secure.

Water leaked thru the gap around the guard so the patch started to come off against my sensor. I paid $12 for this and out of the return, they are gonna charge me $7 out of it (so only 5 back) when I only paid $2+ for shipping!!!! Not worth the time and gas to go to UPS to return it. I have worked in shipping and returns/receiving for over 14 years and never charged a return fee for an order of such a LOW dollar amount!!! So I guess I’ll tape it to my garbage can I will find it in the dark!!

Im new to the dexcom g6. So ive shopped around looked at many accessories. Me being one who has issues with most things decided to get a guard. I liked that the edges are smoothe That was the deciding factor. I love the purple color and the stars on the edge. The price was also comparable. The guard fits perfectly around the sensor tape attached to the sensor. This allows you to change the over lay patches without harming the sensor tape. You cant ask for anything more. Your transmitter and sensor are protected! That means alot to me.

It seems like it gives good protection from doors and those pesky straps that come into contact. Doesn't fit as snug as I was hoping for but it does the job. Beware of them sending the wrong colors. I ordered black and got drab clear.

We had such a hard time with our over patches pulling our dexcom off. When the over patches would wear out and start peeling off, they would pull the adhesive for our dexcom as well. With this guard, it is so easy to change the over patch. It also keeps the dexcom from tearing off from the adhesive when he scratches it on accident. It helps hold the sensor down really well. We were losing a sensor every three days before we bought this item. Now they last the whole 10 days.

I loves this, it keeps my dexcom in place. I have the dexcom on my stomach and keeps it in place. I had a different cgm, on my arm and because of my job no matter what are used to secure the CGM on my arm it still got ripped out and I broke out from the adhesive. I am currently issuing this product and I have knocked it around worse then the one on my arm and my dexcom is still in place. I believe this will be the first cgm that will stay on for the full time. I clothe adhesive that comes with it has not broken me out which is great because I am allergic to adhesive. I am buying one of these for my mother’s cgm.
