A623 HONEYTEK Inductor Inductance Meter with Flashlight Digital Display Inductance Tester

The condition this thing came in shocked me! 1. The orange coloured rubber part came not properly affixed. 2. The screen to protect the display was not affixed properly. It was off one-sided. Had to place it in. 3. The rotary switch came stucked in the off position. Had to use excessive force to turn it. Thought I broke it when it moved. Had to keep rotating it for multiple times for it to 'work in.' 4. One of the screws at the back was not properly screwed in. I am most dissatified with the condition it came in! After fixing the issues however, it works ok. But I can see from my experience this product was not properly assembled and I am feeling very confident that the product had not gone through any inspection before it was dispatched for sale.

I had high hopes for this instrument. I needed to measure some Toroid Inductors I wound, When I went to measure: 1) I could never get the same reading twice in a row (Not good) 2) If I left the instrument on the inductor for more than 1min, the Inductance crept downward continuously until it was reading 0.0uH after about an hour. The other thing I didn't like about it, is the resolution. I needed at least (2) decimal places to the right (x.xx), this meter only has (1) X.X I was very disappointed & It went back for a refund. I decided to shell out the extra $100 to get a proper LCR Meter / Bridge. Do yourself a favor, and stay clear of this instrument.
