The Size!!
Shocked at how small it is! Can't wait to play it it. So far so good, batteries charged, card formatted, in process of connecting to the app. Purchased the Brave4 Pro (came with remote and many connectors that I have to learn how to use) and a selfie stick for travels. Ill update with quality and ease of use

Great for the price
Great action camera for the price. I just wish they would make a cable to interact with aviation headsets for importing audio in. But definitely love the quality of the video

Using as Dash Cam - So Far, So Good
Am using it primarily as a dash cam with an old radar detector suction cup mount zip tied to one of the included camera mounts.Recommendations:-The adhesive on the provided mounts is essentially useless, so I recommend thorough testing before trusting any of it.- Keep the plastic desktop style mount (see img) which is included but glued to the packaging as part of the display. Just rip it off, tear away any remaining bits and adhere some kind of bottom to it, like index board or rubber matting. Although they include many mounting types, they do not include a simple desktop mount. Maybe they intended for us to keep the one I mention- maybe not - don't know.Video Quality = Very Good. I'm only using 1080 setting to save battery life but may up it to the next setting soon. Seems pretty stable with correct settings enabled for dash cam use. I used it with the desktop mount (I salvaged) for some outdoor kitten video testing and was pleased with the results.Camera Options = Very Good. Has all the options I would need for it's intended use.Option Menu = An old school style menu system but is easy to navigate once one gets familiarBattery Life = I have nothing to compare vs similar cameras. I can only say get two or more batteries if you can. I don't drive every day but I'm getting the impression that constant or frequent use, especially at higher resolutions is going to be a serious battery drain.Misc Notes:– The memory disk will likely need some assistance from a small pointing tool (or tiny mouse fingers) to properly sit the card into place far enough to click into position. My card kept popping out and would not 'click' in. I thought it might be broken but I had a suspicion that it just needed some help so I did a quick search to confirm and proceeded to get it seated properly.- I did not install nor would I install the phone app. I don't need it, but more importantly, there is no way in under any circumstances I am ever installing a Chine based/owned app on my phone. I strongly suggest anyone considering doing so to read the entire agreement first, or copy/paste it into ChatGPT for a privacy and security review .. and good luck to you.

I love it so far!
So far, it’s great! I have not used it much and I will return here for update. Packaging is superb. Shipping is awesome. Quality of every piece is great. I am so excited to use it for my travel review videos.

New owner; 1st impression
I just received the Brave 4 Pro and am eager to “test drive” it. The packaging was very professional, the bundle was terrific and the construction looks substantial. I can’t speak to its performance yet, but I’ve been communicating with support off and on with questions and they have been amazingly responsive (quick) and thorough with lots of suggestions and hyperlinks.

Akaso brave 4 pro nueva versión entrada tipo c
Hasta el momento el producto cumplio con mis espectativas, esta versión cuenta con puerto tipo c y la tapa de la batería no se retira se desplaza permaneciendo como parte del cuerpo de la camara.Estare actualizando mi opinión.

Did not meet expectation for PRO
I finally got this and tested it out to compare against my Brave 4 and Brave 7 that I already have. As a Pro edition, I was disappointed in the interface and strange functions. It seems as though the B4, B4 Pro, B7 all had different engineers working on it. The B4 Pro had an older firmware than my regular B4, which I thought was odd. Definitely not an upgrade. Here are some things about the Brave 4 Pro. Note, I am a hiker and using it for such purposes.Pros:- Large front facing screen.- Easy remove frame/cage/holder (same as B4).- Touch screen.- Akaso always provide generous amounts of attachment accessories. A+Cons:- Battery cover is NOT attached to the body (not hinged). Easy to lose.- If you remove the battery, even for second, the datetime resets to factory time to 1-1-2019 (unacceptable).- Filename format. AMNR####.* (B4 is yyyymmdd_hhmmss.*; B7 is NORM####.*). B4 is best.- Zoom feature only works in time lapse or burst modes. Does not work in regular photo or video mode. Unacceptable.- Camera gets really hot.- The front and back screens are plastic, not glass, so the touch sensitivity on the back is questionable.- When in screen saver mode, there is a lock slide you must do to see the display. Every time. Similar to cell phones. No way to disable.-USB port is MICRO USB for charging and data transferring. Not USB-C found on B4 and other Brave cams.Needless to say, I have decided to return this. I got this purely for the EIS 2.0 and larger front screen from my B4.

My favorite investment for exploring!!
Gets mistaken for a GoPro, great quality videos, easy settings, small enough to bring with me everywhere, mp4 files, holds 256gb (haven't tried higher), waterproof case is good (audio not very loud with case on but fine without a case or mic plugged in), cam battery runs( only for a couple to a few hours so good thing there's 2 and they charge fairly quickly even with a portable solar charger. It records in increments of ~13 mins nonstop recording (incase battery dies, you dont lose your entire journey; you only lose that one segment). I got a set of straps, etc from Luxbell and love the variety so makes the camera super fun. One thing to note is if you change out the battery and sd card at the same time, the camera forgets the datestamp you'd put in so go reset it or it'll default to 01/01/2023. The camera is definitely worth it. I've recommended it to several people. I use it for my YT channel and have had the camera 2 years now with no issues or malfunction.
