Fits and looks great! The carbon fiber look is very convincing. Make sure to order the new fasteners to go with it because the existing fasteners will probably break when you remove the old hood scoop. No problems with warping after some very hot days in the sun here. The shape is more sporty and aggressive than the stock one.

Most import thing is it doesn’t come with the clips that pop into the hood but you can reuse the old one if u kept them, the fit perfect and pretty easy to install and looks great. Would definitely recommend for other Mini Cooper s owners. Ps be carful when handling the trim on the edge of the hood because it’s very brittle from the heat of the turbo, mine broke off while putting this on.

SO NOT SNAP THEM OFF DURING REMOVAL. ^* These 5 tabs will slide into slots on the back of your new vent for installation ** • The slotted vent insert is of equal quality. • I wasn’t expecting this portion to be so visually impressive! • The insert is set back like OEM style. The vent is carbon fiber and it’s flush mounted . This provides a sleeker and more aggressive look to the entire component. OVERALL I’m happy with the finished product. Gave a really nice appearance to my 09’ mini clubman S R55. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a new fresh look to their hood.

Item did not really fit well. It wasn't shaped ti fit my mini cooper properly. It should have been sold with the proper clips. It was not easy to find the proper clips.

Replaced the original cracked scoop on my 2007 R56 with this. The original wasn’t vented, but this one is. Engine is running much cooler now. Very easy to install and love the look!

It looks good, and it fits good, but the problem is you need to buy the replacement pins, as the old ones break when you remove them and pretty much can't be reused

The grill you attach did not fit perfectly and is a bit crooked otherwise it looks very good and adds a lot to the look of the car. I didn't notice the crookedness until after the return period expired otherwise I would of sent it back. Being black hides the defect.

All the pictures of the ad it showed a carbon fiber and even the words said its black carbon fiber but I really easily it was black... I had to wait few weeks for the delivery and pay import fees and when it came I was furious but didn't want to go through he hassle of returning it and fighting with fees back to the US... I was lucky that my mini has the same color Pearl Black as this piece
