Attack on the High Seas! #3 (Pirate School)

Grandson seemed more excited than expected with a book! However I did get 2 more in the series plus tied it in with a pirate themed monopoly game. I'll have to see if he's reading the books!

My children love this series! My 3rd grader has difficulty with reading comprehension and usually avoids chapter books. This is the first series of chapter books that he has actually enjoyed reading! He is now on book #5, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do when he finishes the series!

Good Early Reader Chapter Book

Great series. My 8 year old son loves to read these and they are also on Scholastics Reading Counts tests.

These are great books. My 8 year old son loves them. They are fun to read and keep you laughing. We own the whole set and can't wait until more come out.

I read the first book to my 4 year old and 6 year old and they love to listen to the adventures the little pirates go on.

It's seems so hard to find books for boys. They are third grade level AR books worth 1 point. My son really enjoyed the first one so I bought a couple more.

My five year-old son and I have been reading this series much to both our delight. We alternate pages which has enabled his reading confidence to soar. I would highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a nice beginning chapter book - the illustrations and plot keep the interest and the length of each chapter is perfect.
