VETIQPill Treats Advanced Formula for Dogs, Chicken Flavor Soft Chews, Made in the USA, 30 Count

These are my current go-to pill pouches for my dog. She’s a medium-sized Aussie Retriever so these pouches are the perfect size for her, though I do need to put 2 pills inside the pouch so it gets a bit tight (I’d rather combine them into one pouch instead of use 2 pouches, to lengthen the lifespan of these treats). I love that the pouches are malleable though, so I’m able to pinch the ends shut to make sure the pills don’t fall out.My dog seems to love the taste of them, and they’re very easy to use/are functional for even larger pills. My ONLY possibly complaint other than the size of the hole (which could be a tad larger), is that the pouches themselves are quite hard. My dog has a strong jaw and teeth so she’s still able to eat the pouch every day, but you can tell by the way she chews it slowly that it’s a little tough. If these pouches were a SMIDGE more soft, I think they would be a lot easier for dogs to eat. This isn’t enough for me to dock a star, though.Otherwise, these are excellent. My dog has had no digestive or stomach problems with these (and she has 2 of them a day), and they’re very affordable (which is arguably the most important aspect of these treats to me).

I first gave her one right out of package I put a solid tablet in it and she ate it. Then I tried to give her capsules, out of the package she chewed it and the capsule broke open and she spit it out. So I followed advise from other reviews and heated 2 of them 15 seconds in the microwave which made them warm and a little soft, so I put the capsules in and she swallowed them right down, now she sees the package and can't wait for me to toss them to her. I believe she will be disappointed when I'm done with her pills!

I really wanted to find an alternative to Pill Pockets, but the bag of these that I rec'd are dry and hard. You're supposed to be able to pinch the ends closed to keep the pill inside, but these crumble when I try. Perhaps it's just this one bag that I happened to get, but it's still disappointing. Otherwise, the size is generous (fits one large pill or multiple small ones), my dog loves the flavor, and the price point makes them a good value. I may try another order to see if it was just one bad pkg.

Our dog seems to like the flavor of them. Our dog is very picky and these only work for the tablets we cut in half. He will not take them if we put capsule medication inside of them (he just bites it and spits out the meds). They are a bit tough to use as they are harder than I anticipated, I use the handle end of a butter knife to push them close. As for the size, if you put a capsule in them they will not close. Would love to see 2 size options like some other brands. I did not have any issues with the quality and texture of them (they were not crumbling apart or smooshed).

First, I'd like to say that these treats are really helpful. The soft chews are easy to mold around pills, and my dogs love the chicken flavor. Made in the USA is a plus, and being vet recommended gives me confidence. They make giving medication much less stressful for everyone involved. Overall, a simple solution for tricky pill time.

I had high hopes for these, but they’re a letdown. They’re not soft or pliable like other brands, so wrapping pills is frustrating. The pills fall out easily, and trying to get my dog to take them has become a whole chore. The whole point of pill pouches is to make medicating pets easier, but these do the opposite. Won’t be buying again.

My dog has an involuntary body movement disorder. Because of this, he needs 2 pills, twice a day. Additionally, he has to be gluten free. Pill pocket options that are GF are super hard to find. But these! They are perfect! My dog loves them! The (large) pill fits in there so perfectly that I don’t have to squish it. When I DO have to squish one for an occasional 1/2 a Benadryl, it’s easy to squish. I have learned not to squish too much. But honestly, I don’t even have to. The pill just naturally wants to stick in there. They stay fresh in the bag, and works exactly as I had hoped they would. I found them to be a perfect fit for us! Would absolutely recommend.

Great design but my dog wouldn't even eat them before I put the pill inside.
