I bought this as a first holy communion gift for my nephew, and he absolutely loves it. He wants to be a priest, and he uses this every single day to say his daily prayers. It is absolutely one of his favorite gifts he’s ever received. I highly recommend this for any young Catholic.

This book is just as described! The daily reflections are concise, but still quite meaningful and deep. It also has a nice ribbon marker, nice cover (nicer than is possible to be reflected in just a photo), and thick pages (not crazy thick, but definitely thicker than printer paper). Also, the color of the cover is hard to depict accurately in a photo (it's not as yellow as it looks in the product photo, nor as dark as the photo I took).Overall, great purchase!!!

Excellent daily for young Catholics. It is said to be for those 12-25. I bought three for my three nieces 13, 15, and 18 for Christmas. But to tell you the truth, I think even older folks could get a lot from this book. Each day has a half a page worth of material, two days to a page. Perfect for busy young people and really for many modern people who have short attention spans. Each meditation begins with either a Scripture or a saying from a saint including ones like John Paul II, Mother Teresa, Padre Pio, Edith Stein, and John Chrysostom. The prayers at the back of the book are more meant for young people: Prayer To Know One's Vocation, Prayer For Friends, Prayer On One's Birthday, etc.

The entries are nice and concise. Perfect length for when you forget to read them in the morning and only have a minute or two before you leave

I purchased one copy for each of our children who are all young adults. They really liked them. It has a small paragraph for each day so it's not overwhelming or time consuming for them.

I'm loving this book. I'm catching up on days that have passed and love every single one. 4 stars just because when I opened to the first page, it was ripped :(
