While amazingly it doesn't cover up two plugs sideways at least, it was installed inside a six converter plugged into it normal outlet, the plug next to it would have to be pretty thin. However otherwise, it's perfect. The idiots at Amazon stuck it in with books, big heavy books and The way it's packaged with the plugs outside of the overall packaging, it was a little bent but I was able to bend it back including the grounding prong without it breaking. Just a simple switch, on /off. Lights up when it's on. Bought it to replace a timing switch that had stopped working didn't really need the timing switch and it was a pain to bend over and turn that thing on and off before. This makes everything much less complicated. I is it on the back porch for my string lights running around the ceiling. All I needed was a simple on off. I wish I had found this years ago.

Perfect solution to my perculator. With this don’t have to unplug from the wall the light is lit to know when to turn off so not to forget to turn it off. Just a flip of the switch to start perculating and flip it off when it is finished

Handy to use and still working good

It works great for my Lifepro vibration machine which they recommend it be unplugged after use and this keeps me from damaging the plug.

My wife was confined to a wheelchair and needed to be able to turn lamps, etc. on from a power strip next to the bed. This is identical to the ones I used 5 or 6 years ago.b

Love this! It was so easy to install and makes turning on a light string so much easier than trying to plug and unplug it every time. I would buy more if I had the need.

I got these as I had a older AC on which the orginal front part of the switch shaft was broken and I needed a way of turning it on and off. I didn't need to change it from one setting to another and I only wanted to be able to turn it on or off. It is a 1,000 BTU. 10 AMP 110 AC window unit and even though it is old, it still cools like a champ. I got these because they fit the amp and wattage specs I needed. When I got them in and looked them over I was pleased to find that they were rated just like I needed and therefore would seem to fit the bill. The switch had a good feel to it and the switching action felt like a heavier duty type switch. So I plugged the switch into the wall and plugged the AC unit into it. I turned on the switch first and then set the switch on the AC to the setting I always left it set on. It came on without a problem and the AC ran great with the new switch. I left it on for awhile and then turned the AC off using the new switch and waited about 30 minutes and again used the switch to turn the AC back on. Both tests worked great with no problems encountered. The only thing I really was concerned about was the starting load from the AC and that didn't cause any problems at all. The switch worked like a dream and solved a problem for me. If you're needed a way to turn something off and on and it fits in the rating specs of this switch, it should work fairly well.... Not a bad switch .....
