I bought these crimping tongs for myself but as soon as my daughter saw them she wanted a go, and as you can see from the photo, her hair look fabulous after using it. As with any heated hair styler, we need to make sure we protect the hair with a heat protection spray before using to prevent heat damage, but once she have used that, she were happy to use the higher setting for a more dramatic effect.This device is a crimper and a straightener, all in one, so seems really good value; three crimping plates and one smooth straightener, can be interchanged. The plates slide on and off the styler, grooves underneath holding the plates in place, then just plug in and use the button on the inside to choose the temperature required. It heats up really quickly, even when using the highest temperature setting; both myself and my daughter have longer length, thick hair; finer hair would only need a lower setting, however. A fully rotating cable always makes the styling task easier especially when doing my own hair, there is also a slide switch at the cable end, to lock the tongs in place for a minutes or so, and slide back to release the hair; so all very easy to use.The look and feel of the crimper/straightener is good, a solid construction, heats up quickly, and works really well; I hate to say it but my daughter's hair did look so much more professional than my first attempt; just need a little more practice I suppose.

These are actually really great! Was pleasantly surprised as I didn't know what to expect. I didn't give it 5 stars only because the box came damaged, and it would have been better if they came with a heat mat because the ends get so hot, like too hot to touch, so it would most definitely burn the surface you put it on.I love that they came with different plates to change the size of the crimp. I had to watch the video on how to change them as I couldn't work it out, but they're actually quite simple to switch out.If you're unsure whether to buy these, just do it! They look lovely, and work really well! You only need to clamp down for a few seconds (as long as your sections are small enough). Perfect to add volume or have a funky crimped style!

Great service. I bought this for my hair and m delighted. A curvy plate to wave the hair rather than zig zags would been a great addition to a great product

I have long thick hair and was a bit sceptical. Firstly I had to do my hair in sections, tying it up in layers. It was a bit time consuming but felt it was worth the effort. It did look nice and held well, even days later and after brushing. It lasts until the next wash. I will only do it on special occasions but may be quicker on shorter hair. I would recommend this item.

Got it for my wife to get a different hairstyle for the event and was not disappointed. This thing is very good to get krimps in only a matter of minutes. The good thing is that you have 4 different types of krimps and also the machine is super easy to use , not at all noisy and very compact to fit in the travel case as well

Very easy to use, comes with 4 different sets of plates that can easily be changed to get your desired look.The temperature can also be set to suit your hair type. Heats up very quickly and gives a good looking result quickly and easily.Would recommend to anyone looking to crimp there own hair.

I am very pleased with this product, easy to use .My daughter has long thick slight wave hair,we cripped all other.Looked great,she went to the beach was a bit wind, it stayed in which she was very pleased with.If worried about this don't, brilliant buy .

I bought this for my wife as a present.She loved the effect. She wanted crimping iron for hair as she already got a straightener.However she loved the fact that it can do multiple jobs which makes it easy to carry while travelling places.Its nice and worth the price paid for.Recommended.
