Post-it Pop-up Note Dispenser, Karate Design, Includes One Pop-up Note Pad (KD-330)

This karate note dispenser is so fun and unique. My son has a male teacher and it is time for the holiday break. Here it is...time to give teachers a gift. What do we get a 5th grade male teacher?! Next came the question, what would be a useful and great gift that's far away from the typical teacher gifts of Starbucks gift cards, ornaments, mason jar cookie mixes, coffee mugs...etc? Also, what is something that will be exciting to give rather than the kid feel silly &/or 'meh' about giving the gift to his male teacher? Many recommendations for great teacher gifts were classroom supplies like copy paper, pencils and loose leaf, lined paper. The search began. I came across this dispenser during my research. The second I saw and read about it, I knew THIS was IT. I showed it to my son, he smiled and said "how coooool! I want to give him that!" He was excited when I pushed the confirm order button.This dispenser is heavy for its size. That is fantastic because there is nothing more annoying than something flopping over when you are one-handedly trying to remove something from it. Then it becomes the case where you have to use two hands to keep that from happening. I appreciate sturdy products. There is a pen/pencil holder on the karate guy's back. You cannot tell that feature by the picture alone. That added touch is very nice.His teacher loved it and it immediately went onto his desk with pride. I highly suggest this dispenser, not only for personal use but for gifts as well. It is super cool and offered at an awesome price!

This was a fun little purchase that I couldn't resist. After looking through the different options of desktop Post-it dispensers, I settled on choosing this one which definitely stood out as one of the more amusing dispensers standing out from the rest and is definitely a conversation starter, catching people's eyes passing by the desk.The weighted base is a bit over 3 1/2 inches wide, 5 inches deep and a bit under 4 1/2 inches tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the figure's head. It's nice that the bottom of the base has 4 soft plastic rounded dots that keep the base from scratching your desk. I use the surrounding platform to store paperclips, although the base is not magnetic. Behind the figure is an attached pencil/pen holder that will fit one narrow writing instrument (fits up to a standard Sharpie size) but the holder is not closed ended, so if you have an uncapped pencil or pen, that may leave marks on the light tan colored textured plastic base.The plastic karate figure has a noticeable seam along the front of the face and body as you can see that it is put together from at least 2 pieces and glued together (a left side and a right side), so if you're a perfectionist, that might annoy you, otherwise this is a fun product to make your desk a little less serious :)

I've seen this at Staples and immediately decided I need to have this. So I ordered online since Staples is overpriced. Arrived today. the base is heavy enough for it to be sturdy. The pen holder affixed to the back of the dude is a very nice touch since I can never find a pen around where the post-its are. everybody just steals loose pens. this way maybe it will stay :) I am definitely recommending this product, and I think it can make a good gift for anybody into martial arts - it's themed and functional. Can give one to your instructor to keep in school.

This Post-it dispenser is good and fun! How good? I live with family. My 5 year old granddaughter keeps stealing it. I have to keep hiding it in order to keep using it.

Bought it for the office and it was a huge hit with everyone! Even has a place for your samurai sword..... a pen!

The product is damaged. the gray part holding the notes is broken. disappointed!!

I have THREE of these great little gizmos. They're cute and efficient. You can't really tell, but there's a place on the karate guy's back for a marking pen. My adult son visited and commented favorably, so this particular one was ordered for him. Best of all? It was an ADD-ON item!

Bought this as a gift for my husband. He seemed to really like it and took it to work with him. What I expected.
