Heavy shirt/Light jacket
Just arrived so I have not pushed it yet but the quality seems as good as my other Helikon clothes so I am expecting 5 star performance. With a backpack on the two chest pockets are a no go but I expected that. The arm and lower pockets are usable though. It is a heavy shirt and will work well as a light jacket if needed. The velcro cuffs work great. The buttons are a good size and so are easy to use. That helps if you are older with arthritis like I am. 😒The fit: I am 5'8" 138 lbs with a 37" chest and the medium I ordered is good. A little roomy but didn't want anything constricting either. The Helikon labeling on the tag says EU:M US S. Keep that in mind when you order your size from the drop down. You are ordering the European size. My tape measure was about 24" pit to pit with the jacket flat on the ground if that helps. All in all I think it is a good shirt at a fair price. It should serve me well.

Strong Professional Look
Well made, well designed. Will use for meetings and public appearances. Similar to a shirt Jacket. Tactical & Professional presentation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cool
OD is pretty cool, comfy and durable. Sleeves are a bit short if your tall but it don’t matter if it’s 80 degrees out and your running in full kit.

Got it just because it went with the pants, not really what I need but I'll hold on to it
So I bought the pants, and impulse bought the blouse. Shadow grey, don't know why it says olive green. The color matches the pants, same fabric line, check.Bought it with the intention of gardening... Looks a little too military for the suburbs. I bought blank grey patches for the Velcro, but it still screams paintball ninja. I might strip the Velcro off of it, I might cut the shoulder pockets off completely. I feel like the shoulder pockets are like weirdly angled or really far onto the bicep. Compared it against a favorite old worn ROTC ACU blouse from years ago and the pocket placement and angle is virtually the same. I dunno smh. When I first threw it on that Velcro was stiff and square. Hosed myself down, jumped in the pool, pulled myself through some dirt, still pretty crunchy and stiff. Will take a few washings, take that for what it's worth. These were of course made for the super macho gunfighter with big arms and shoulder and chest so maybe I just bought a size too big. Last note on the shoulder pockets, they do sit fine when in the "carbine gunfighter" pose.I got this for pruning hedges and stuff, glad it's a little big for throwing on top of whatever scout, rotary, charity shirt i am doing a service project for or whatever... Again the thing screams military so I haven't really worn this out.Good collar, good buttons, good stitching, appreciate the quality

Great cut & fit.
These coats (shirt) are cut & styled like the new active duty military is using now. They have all the right pockets, in all the right places. Including elbow pockets for the pad inserts, if you want them. The material is thick and doubled where it is needed. Sizes are big and roomy, so if you are weight lifter, or just a larger person, you will still have plenty room to move. All I have ever found on the civilian market are the straight "crappy" military coats we wore in the 80's and early 90's. The only improvements I could suggest is greater, or longer strip of velcro at the cuff for a tighter fit. And also greater access in the US, so that exchanges (sizes) could be easier & less expensive. Great Product!

Too much velcro wish it was NYCO, wish they had Small-Long size
The shirt is covered in velcro. I wish there was none, except maybe to close the pockets.I used a thread ripper to remove most of it. Unfortunately, I made a small cut in the shirt itself at the top of one of the top pockets. Now I have to be careful, or I am sun-burned when I wear the shirt.I work ouside in brush, and if I kept the velcro, every plant known and unknown would stick to the velcro. That might be a great idea for a gillie suit, but I don't want one of those for work.I wish the shirt was in NYCO. That is cooler, and I work in Central Texas.I also wish they used military sizing. I like the small-long size, because it better protects my arms, and offers a little better protection of my waist area.It would be nice if one of the top pockets had a pen slot in the flap.Other than those complaints, it's a nice shirt. I'm going to order a couple more.

Impressive
I took a chance and thought I would try this brand out. Just received and my initial impressions are, this is really nice stuff. It's really well sewn and the lay out is well thought out. It's nice and lightweight, but tough as nails. I would make additional purchases of Helikon-Tex. Good job guys!!
