We will have to return this unit as it did not keep our dog from barking. Not only that but it’s very sensitive so if you have small children who make noise, close a kitchen cabinet or drawer it would be set off. That just isn’t fair to my dog since it does emit a high pitch noise.

I feel guilty using this on my dog…BUT it works really well. Our dog will scream bloody murder from the minute we leave him alone to the minute we get home NON STOP. We live in an apartment and were getting complaints about his barking so we had to do something quick. This sure as heck does the job. He hates it and will shake but we didn’t have any other options or the time to train him.

Said I would NEVER write another review because AMAZON ALWAYS find some reason to reject my reviews, they're worse than the fact checkers at Facebook. Anyway, it says the battery life is 30 days fully charged. MAYBE an 0 was added accidentally because it only lasted 3 days. It is easy to use, and I put it in a sheltered area so not sure about weather proof. SO far I have a @#$% dog next door, a chihuahua that's driving me up the wall. THE instructions ASK you to give it a couple of weeks so I ALMOST didn't check it this afternoon after the dog kept barking, but then I see it didn't even activate when I went over and the @#$% thing would not shut up. IT'S evident the battery is dead and I originally charged it like 12 hours, when it only suggest 5. Gonna give it one more try.

After a few days of use the product failed. Emits a tone all the time when turned o, not just when dogs barking. I took it away and turned it off but days later my dogs are still afraid to go outside. Do not recommend.

Pros: I liked the price and that it's not a dang collar. I liked that it was rechargeable. I saw almost immediate results for my 1 dog that likes to bark at everything.Con: it cannot hold a charge. We live on 80 acres with no animals outside except the dogs when they are out. The device was set up by their pen, attached to the dog house. It would go off when he barked like it should. There were no other sources of noise to cause it to go off and drain the battery (I know this because I put a camera on it for 3 days). Yet the battery will not hold a charge. After the most recent charge, I put it back out and it didn't even stay charged for 48 hours and was completely dead. In those less than 48 hours, it only went off 4 times from him barking. Yet totally died. Returning and will not get again or recommend.

Having been through a couple of the more expensive wire-powered dog-bark-stoppers I wanted to try this one as it was at least half as cheap, had USB battery, and multi-frequency settings. I have to say that I was impressed at first usage. Neighbor's yard one night had no less than 3 (or maybe 4) little loud-yapping terriers plus a corgi all setting each other off. I bought this thing specifically to shut them up. Held it about 5 feet back of the fence, pointing right at them, distance of 30-40 feet, and it shut them right up, with but little growls. Not only that, they shut up for the remainder of the hour or so they were together. So....definitely WORKS but as always with all these ultrasonic devices, you must have a clear sound path (no thick bushes, walls, etc) and be within an acceptable distance. Not sure how it would work on a bigger dog (another variable, always), but for these little mouthy dogs it so far works like a charm. Had it out in California winter weather with no breakdown for days. For the price I'd recommend trying it. Good luck!

I mainly use this for indoors and if we're within a short distance it works just bark once but not continually. When outdoors it only helps with the dogs in my yard and I put it to the area they gravitate to to bark at people because the distance it states it works for is not The correct distance and a lot shorter. Fluctuates on (red) when nothing has triggered it. Faulty. Doesn't stay charged as long as stated.

Neighbors had some awful dogs barking anytime of the night. I'm glad this device gets rid of the issue. I hung it above my door and downstairs it's a difference. They try barking and the ultrasound signal stops it. Also don't use this inside. I tried but the ultra sonic waves hurt my ears. So not recommended. Outdoors only.
