Great Chair, a total solution at a reasonable price
I built myself a standing desk with a computer station and a crafting station. The standing idea is more for the crafting station so I needed an office chair for the computer station. This stool is the perfect solution, it is comfortable enough to sit in for longer periods of time and adjusts easily to the proper height. Assembly was very simple, took about 10 minutes and everything needed was included in the package. The only necessary tool was an included Allen Wrench. As far as the footring slippage as mentioned in another review, I worked with the same "issue" for a minute and figured out that the adjusting screw just needed an extra half-turn crush to stay in place. I used a towel as a grip to get enough pressure to make it really stay. I can say I feel really good about this purchase. I'd read the other reviews and found them very helpful in making my selection. I would definitely recommend this stool to anyone in need of a sturdy, comfortable chair that has some extra height.

Great chair! Easy to assemble!
When my chair arrived, I thought - Oh, something to add to my hubby's list of things to do. When he left for work in the morning and hadn't offered to assemble it for me, I was gonna annoyed. So after dropping my boys off at school, I opened the box and laid all the pieces on the carpet. I figured I might as well assemble the chair myself cuz I my back, ass & hips couldn't take another working day sitting on a hard wooden Ikea folding chair. So I got to it... and before I knew it, I had successfully assembled my new office chair in 8 minutes! And at a leisurely pace! Definitely impressed myself and appreciative that this wasn't another crappy regretful impulsive Amazon purchase LOL. Everything needed for the assembly was included and the chair was light enough for me to carry up the stairs to my home office. I've been looking for a taller height office chair cuz my desk here at home is a little higher than normal, and this chair is PERFECT! It has great seat height options and the memory foam seat & arched mesh backer is super comfy! Definitely recommend this chair for anyone looking for a taller office chair, and would buy again!

So happy with this chair
INITIAL REACTION: So happy with this chair. The off-gassing was in no way a problem. I got the fabric covered seat on purpose because PVC is carcinogenic and it was more expensive anyway. The off-gassing really wasn't noticeable. The foot ring also doesn't move-- Not yet at least. It did come with a cardboard thing in the ring.... the instructions don't tell you to remove it...... but obviously I removed it. It keeps the two metal moveable plates from falling out. I really don't see why this ring should move if you took the cardboard ring out and tightened it down securely. It obviously might slide down over time but it feels very secured. I'll update my review in the future if there's a problem. OH! and this chair is so much more comfortable than my last one. I bought a $50-$60 computer chair on amazon... looked okay.... felt okay... I thought I might dislike not having arm rests on this one but I don't. In fact, I never realized how uncomfortable they were for my shoulders. I'm 5'4''. Extremely happy with this chair! So happy I didn't pay attention to the footring issue. Even if the foot ring becomes an issue, it wouldn't actually be much of a problem-- and there are solutions anyway... With all that said I only gave it 4 stars. That's because I come from a family of upholsterers, and the upholstery on this isn't that great. The foam padding itself is... ok. It's very comfortable but won't last more than 1.5 years without being noticeably different. I think it might last 3 years before I have to replace it, half of which would be uncomfortable. It also doesn't feel like there's dacron between the foam and the fabric, which in good upholstery there is. Also, the fabric isn't bad, but if these are stapled by hand they weren't exactly mindful of being nice and neat about it. Where the fabric folds over itself at the corners, the corners all look different lmao. It's quite careless, and the fabric was not stapled taught enough (not tight enough-- fabric is a little "baggy") These are essentially non-issues for mel. Most people wouldn't notice these details-- especially without how low the quality of furniture has gotten, people are used to low-quality being the norm. Honestly, it's very easy to fix these issues. You're definitely not paying for the upholstery on this chair. You're paying for the framework and mechanical components.... definitely worth it!!!! This upholstery job is only worth about $15 including supplies and materials then maybe $8-$10 for labor (MAYBE......) So this seat to make in total is about $22 of the entire purchase which is being generous. A $70 retail value for the mechanical components isn't TOO bad. I'd argue that they're only worth about $64, but it's Amazon, it's conveneient, I LOVE that I can see reviews on anything before I buy it, and customer service is fantastic. This really is a great deal. I shop on amazon because of the reviews. I hate buying something online and being unhappy, then going through the hassle of returning it. I only buy things that are 4 stars and up. In other words, I'd rather pay an extra $5 or $7 knowing that the item is reviewed and rated highly over taking the chance on something questionable. My time is important. The back is also extremely comfortable. I wonder how long before the mesh stretches out and becomes uncomfortable (?) I thought the mesh back would be like metal, not fabric.... I don't see that lasting very long but I have every intention to call and ask for a new back before the warranty is up!!!!

This works well for me.
After considering many options, I went for this chair. I'm 5'4" and weigh 124 lbs, for reference. For the most part this was easy to put together, I just had an issue with the cardboard ring. I admit I'm not super at assembling things. After reading the reviews, I took the cardboard ring out. But because I couldn't get the metal rings inside to stay in place so that I could put it together, I grew frustrated and put the cardboard ring back in place to hold it. Then I put it together and it worked! My chair goes up and down as it should and I can adjust the foot ring which stays in place nicely. I don't usually spend more than a few hours at a time sitting at my drawing board, but find it very comfortable. It doesn't roll easily on carpet when I'm sitting on it, but it moves well when empty. I like that it is not so large, and does not have arms, as I'm in a small room, and my drawing board is not huge, so this fits underneath it well. ( I did measure before ordering ).

Perfect Solution for Stand Up Desk Converter (for Petite Person)
I'm a small, petite woman (5'3" with a short torso) and every blasted chair never brought me high enough for an average height desk. The result? Pain. Shoulders, neck and arms - especially my mouse arm. I needed on top of my keyboard. I missed my ergonomic set up at my office so bad!!!!! After attempting to purchase the highest chair I could at Office Depot, I turned to Amazon and a drafting chair became the obvious solution. Now my stand-up desk converter is always in the stand-up position with my chair at the correct height to slide in (well, jump in). :-) Price point was good. Quality is pretty good. I'm very light (118 lbs.) and don't put a lot of down-pressure on the foot ring, so I'm hopeful I won't have some of the issues other reviewers have struggled with. I just got it, but the foot ring is very secure (I tend to put my feet behind the ring with the tops of my feet leaning against it rather than putting downward force on it). The air pump seems to work well. The frame is lightweight plastic - make no mistake. I'm not sure I'd put a large person in it. But it was the perfect solution for a petite woman. And made working from home less miserable for sure. Also, very easy to install. Received it, put together in 20 minutes and was working. Thank you Amazon!

Great, simple, comfortable desk/drafting chair
This is a great, simple, sturdy, easy-to-assemble, every-day chair. Dimensions: Min seat height to floor (from top of seat): 24" Max seat height to floor: 33.5 Compression, seated (sag - 155 lb person): 2.0" Range of foot ring heights (from floor to top of ring): 8" - 17" I work in front of a computer for long hours, and it's comfortable to sit on. I also like to sit just on the lip of the seat, in a sort of sit-stand posture, and that's good too (it wasn't designed for that, but still works nicely). It arrived complete with all parts in good shape, and I found it easy to assemble. The foot ring that seems to have given people trouble in the past is now very sturdy and easy to adjust for height. Plus, the fabric *didn't stink* of weird offgassing. That was nice. :-) I bought the drafting model b/c I have a taller desk, plus I like to sit/stand, and it has been great for both. If you want an executive-class chair with 500 nobs and dials and options, please buy one and love it. If you want a sturdy, simple, easy to assemble and use chair, buy this.

Good chair, easy to assemble.
Second one of this drafting chair to buy for Church. The other one from 2021 still going strong. Like height of chair and comfortable to sit in for hours at a time. Foot rest is also good as can adjust its height.

Great standing desk chair.
I've had this chair for a year now, and it continues to function well. I'm a man a little over 200 lbs, 6' tall. The hydraulics have supported me fine. It does a fine job at exactly what I got it for -- to give me a break for a bit when I'm tired of standing at my desk(s), without requiring me to go through the hassle of adjusting my desk(s)/equipment. I do stand the vast majority of the time while working, so it's possible I wouldn't like the chair as much if I were in it all day. But it seems plenty comfortable even on occasion when I'm in it for a couple hours straight.
