Perfect fit
I have had my above ground pool skimmer for about 3 1/2 years and the suction cover finally cracked, due to age, exposure and chemicals. This one is a perfect fit for a replacement and I am now able to use my pool cleaner again.

Didn't fit my pool
If you have a regular pool filter, this would be fantastic! It didn't fit my Summer Waves pool filter as it was a little too big. Gave it to my neighbor as a back up for his pool.

Great tool
Works great with the Hydro tools 8130 Weighted Butterfly Pool Vacuum Head, for the price you can't go wrong. Does a great job. ordered the wrong one. To small for my skimmer basket but the company is great to deal with. Accepted my return requested and had the right size for my basket. Can't say enough about the company and product.

Too small diameter
Plate diameter is too small to cover my skimmer basket sufficiently to draw enough vacuum to be useful. I will need to modify it.

Buyer Beware
This will NOT stay on hose! My original one stayed snug on the hose to where I could hang the hose for next use, this one will fall off!

One of the best!
Exactly what I needed ! I had the type that sticks straight up and it was a pain trying to get the vacuum hose over it to clean the pool. This design is fantastic! I just finished cleaning my pool and had great suction due to this plate. It is made to fit two sizes of vacuum hoses mine is a 1.5 and it also will fit a smaller hose. Extremely happy with this purchace and great value too.

Because of the location of our pool deck, using the straight skimmer plate is a bit of a struggle. This 90 degree plate takes care of the problem. It goes in from the skimmer opening and locks in place with the suction. Works very well.
