As a child of the 80's and going through elementary school in the 90's, my Trapper Keeper was my go-to daily organizer. It had a place for EVERYTHING that was pertinent to a 10-year-old - #2 pencils to ace scantron tests, the zippered 3-ring-binder pouch for random crayons that didn't fit in the box of 64 with the sharpener, a tab/pocket for each subject and even hidden pockets for keeping/exchanging secret notes with friends. Throw in the theme of your choice and you absolutely could not get by without one. I also couldn't agree more with John Mayer's comments of them, "[Trapper Keepers were] the genesis of OCD for my generation.”That OCD twinge is what led me in the search for the more grown-up version of the personal organizer. A place to keep documents (before they can be hustled to a scanner), notes, pencils, the Trapper-Keeper replacing tablet, business cards, checks, etc. I bounced around to several different options but eventually landed on this one based on other reviews. I'm pretty happy with my choice. Here's what I liked about this one (your tastes may vary):* Full Leather Exterior - (specifically not PU leather which will eventually deteriorate and delaminate) durable and quite beautiful in my opinion. The real thing looked better than the pictures from the seller. I expect it will wear with age and that makes it even better.* Full-Size Pockets - I can keep 8.5x11" paper in the pockets without tearing up the pages or folding them. They will also easily hold a tablet in a separate accordion type folder to avoid scratches from staples, etc.* Plenty of Storage - cards, pencils, pens, receipts, checkbooks (business and personal sized), paper pad, stylus - there's a home for everything you may need while running your business on the go. (I didn't find the cell phone pocket super useful for its intended purpose, but it would make a great spot for plane tickets or something of that size. If you don't keep your phone in a separate case, it may work better for you.)* Heavy Duty YKK Zippers - not advertised, but the zippers and stitching are heavy duty and should last. Also, since I do get stuck with a lot of paper, it keeps my OCD in check knowing that it's a zipped up safely and nothing has fallen out.* Good Impression with Clients - while signing contracts outside one day, I turned my folder around for a client to sign against the paper pad and she said "Ooh, I can feel the power!" Ha!* Not Branded - of course, you can get it branded if you like but since I operate under a few different marques in any given day, it's nice to be able to be low key about it when needed without a wardrobe change.* Not a 3-Ring-Binder - they definitely have their uses, but for daily carry, I didn't want the added bulk of even a small ring binder. Anything that I would bind is scanned and stored electronically.* Giftable - If you're a Giftology fan, I think this would qualify as a practical luxury gift (just don't put your own logo on it!) and would go over well with most business people or students. Probably not a great gift for their spouses though.My one complaint is a superficial one and totally my fault. I left this binder on my dashboard one day while checking on some work being done. When I came back, the beautiful texture of the leather was gone on the side facing the windshield and it had "melted" into a slick, dark sheen. That was just yesterday and it looks like some of the texture may be coming back as the leather is flexed. It didn't hurt the functionality at all, just the look. It may restore over time though. The finish will also get scratched but that's just part of owning leather. I haven't yet found a way to smooth the big scratches out.As I said, I'm super happy with my purchase and would make it again if I ever lost this one. I hope and expect that it will last me a few decades of hustling and grinding - more than I can say for the Lamborghini Countach themed Trapper Keeper that started me down this path! No offense to the original though!

It was beautiful! The engraving was great, the pouch was very soft, and the binder was large and perfect. Lots of compartments. My boy loved it!

I gifted this to my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it! I made the design on canvas and uploaded it. It was very simple and I was able to view the product before I submitted my order which was a plus for the amount I spent. The leather portfolio was high quality and they did an amazing job with the engraved design. I highly recommend!!

While it could be real leather it doesn’t smell like it… if I was shopping in person I definitely wouldn’t have paid over $100 for it. I would’ve gone with the $30 one from a different brand. Sorry, just have to be honest.

When I got this Padfolio, it was a game-changer. I am personally a very disorganized person and I had been looking for a long time for an organizer that could hold everything I needed for my studies and my personal life. It holds my calendar, notepad, all the pens and pencils I need, my charger and portable charger, and even my phone and iPad. I never go anywhere without this Padfolio. Now I can truly go to class and not even need to take my backpack!In short, my life was in shambles and this was just the medicine I needed. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to really organize their life.

I have been passively searching for a nice new leather folio for some time now and hesitated when searching here since I couldn't tell the exact quality. I was very presently surprised when it arrived as it is beautifully manufactured. I have not put it through heavy, or even medium use yet, but it seems like it will hold up very well. It feels hearty and unlikely to become damaged with normal / lite use. Very happy with my purchase and excited for its use.

Company needs better inspection prior to shipping! My first order had a defect on the cover of the portfolio. After the company received my photos they agreed to send a replacement within 7 days. As promised, I received the reorder today and it has a defect on the back. I am so disappointed since I purchased this as a gift for a very special person. 😕

I haven’t had time to use it yet, but the portfolio arrived quickly and in fantastic shape. I love the “used” leather look.

Arrived fairly quick, it was as described except there were some marks on it. the leather is of nice quality but My personal opinion is its very over priced for what your getting.
