Automatic Water Level Control Valve, Float Valve - Used for Tower, Solar Energy, Livestock Pond, Aquarium, Automatic Storage & Irrigation (1" Side Entry)

Just what I needed to add an auto-fill and shut-off for my outdoor fountain. I hooked it into my irrigation drip line and through a bulkhead fitting to mount it inside the fountain reservoir. I chose the top mounted design so I can adjust the mount height later without additional drilling. Water fill was fast and the valve shut off perfectly and without any leaks or drips. Only quibble is that I wished there were some marking or indicator on the outside to show the shutoff water level but it was not a show stopper. Only time will tell how long this lasts. But since it's mounted on the inside and away from direct sunlight and elements, it should last a long time.

Excellent part

Similar to the latest reviewer. Used it on a small Fountain. My wife and I argued all the time about who last filled the fountain or if they did. Here in Reno with 10% humidity in the Summer we had to fill it 4-6 times during the day. We turned it off when we weren't home and at night. Put in an outdoor switch and conduit to a concrete pad that the fountain sits on . We dismantle it in the Winter. Now with this float switch and 1/4" line fed from a "Y" on my hose bib filling is automatic. I also put in a small plastic globe valve near the fountain to turn off the water supply there. Like the previous reviewer I wish there was a mark on the valve casing showing where the water on/off level was. Trial and error was no big deal though.

Using it on my water fountain in my front yard and now I don't need to add a gallon of water every 3 days. It gets hot here in AZ.

I am a verified purchaser of this, but I waited a year to do a review, just to make sure! I’m here to tell you that this thing is legit. It has been auto filling my pool without a hiccup since I bought it a year ago. our pool is a UV filtered chlorine pool. This valve has withstood the chlorine and the Florida elements, including a deep freeze last winner and it’s still going.

It Leaks.

I bought this to use on my outdoor waterfall so that I didn't have to manually fill it due to evaporation, etc. It works perfectly with a little pvc pipe plumbing and a short water hose.

This is the best invention in a long time. Works great for my underground water tank. Much better than the big float type. I hope it lasts a long time. Highly recommended
