Let me begin by saying that I have always felt that Castelli's cycling apparel is some of the best in the market. I recently purchased the Castelli Rossa Corsa Pro 9 sock, size XXL. According to the manufacturer's sizing chart, XXL should fit an 11-14 (US) shoe size. With size 11 feet, I felt this would give me plenty of breathing room, however I was disappointed to find they were incredibly tight and difficult slip on. After wearing the sock about 10 times, I nearly tore the sock in half at the ankle trying to pull it up. If you have bigger feet like mine, you may want to explore other brands, or at the very least, take care to very slowly pull the sock around your ankle. Aside from the extremely tight fit, it is a quality sock, but for the fact that I purchased the recommended sock size (there is no 3XL) and the fit was so poor, I give it two out of five stars.

The sizing chart says it fits size 13, but it’s really only about a 10.

Non mi sarei mai aspettato da un'azienda del livello di Castelli che la taglia dichiarata non corrispondesse neppure lontanamente a quella dei calzini inviati. Peccato, perché la qualità del tessuto è eccellente, purtroppo il tallone non arriva a coprire neppure la metà del mio calcagno. Io indosso normalmente calze taglia 11½-12, equivalenti a 44-45. Confrontati con altri questi calzini equivalgono alla misura 9½-10, cioè 41-42. Che siano misure cinesi?Li ho comunque tenuti per regalarli a un amico con piedi più piccoli però sono molto deluso da Castelli.
