Fox Run Small Marble Mortar and Pestle Set, White, 3.5"

This is by far the cutest and tiniest mortar grinder I have ever purchased. I did want something small. It did not disappoint. I mean. It was only about $20 with taxes so I was not expecting something huge. The quality is good. It’s worth more than what I paid. I’m pleased. Works well to grind my dog raw beef bones and marrow after baking and drying. The grinder turns the bones into a fine calcium dust to be added to his homemade fresh cooked food. I have no regrets with this tiny purchase. I actually love it. Takes very little room in my dog cupboard.

Trop mignon!!!! Exactement ce a quoi je m'attendais. Je me cherchais un mortier solide et pratique qui ne prendrais pas trop de place dans mon petit appartement sans rangement. Quand je l'ai reçu j'étais très contente de voir que la grosseur est parfaite (un petit peu plus gros que la grosseur d'une main), tout en étant solide et résistant. Je l'ai utilisé déjà quelque fois et il fonctionne aussi bien qu'un gros! L'effet marbre est réussit, ce qui le rend vraiment mignon sur mon comptoir :)

Heavy, small and heavy-duty mortar and pestle bought specifically to prepare spices for masala chai. It is very easy to use and delivers what I need it to do. I have had it for 3 years now and use it to this day without issue. Highly recommend to crush small amounts of spice for daily use and, doesn't take up much space in my tea-coffee cabinet. Love it!

I wanted to use this to grind up spices and herbs for cooking, but the small size is very small, almost too small. It’s difficult to use without things flying out. However, I realize I’m inexperienced with using a mortar and pestle, so maybe I’m just using it wrong. It’s made of a heavy stone material, but a tiny part of the pestle chipped off while I was prepping the mortar with white rice. I don’t know if this is typical, as it was only a small flake. Otherwise feels well crafted. Maybe not the right fit for a newbie like me!

Works as intended and the small size is convenient. I think it looks nice too.
