A+A+A+A+A+This is the BEST little, inexpensive, easy to use, knife sharpener I've ever purchased. I've been sharpening with it for at least four months now and I'm amazed at how easy it is to keep my kitchen knives razor sharp. I came back to buy more as gifts of these for those family and friends who neglect to sharpen their knives (think butter knife.)Gifted one of these to my daughter and asked her to use it on any one of her knives. Once I showed her how to use it properly, she cut some food with it and she said, "Oh wow!, I like it, I can't wait to sharpen all of knives in my kitchen."I've tossed those 'expensive' sharpeners (had three, disappointing gadgets) that didn't really get the job done and will use these little beauties forever. BTW, this will freshen the blades on scissors too.What a perfect, simple, super sharpener! So, a sharp knife, is a safe knife, is true.

Works good with just a half dozen strokes but to have a better edge follow up with a ceramic or steel honing rod.I hold the knife down and drag the sharpener across the knife edge instead of the opposite.

Easy to handle knife sharpener. If unsure how to use a honing steel, then this ideal. Place your knife in the guide and pull back in even strokes. Will hone your blade perfectly. Great price, also!

This is the 2nd one I've purchased. The 1st lasted a good 5 years. Sharpens really well and easy to use.

Mine came from Australia originally as a gift from friends there which is why I bought four more for gifts here. It is the best, easiest and safest knife sharpener and everyone I show it to want one . It was expensive buying it from the US plus import duty ! I thought when I first went on line to find out where to buy that I could buy it in theUK for much less but have not so far gone into this.

forget all the over price junk they sell here this works!! buy 2 after a year it wear out. so what? the price is right and it realy works. the other ones do nothing and REALY over PRICED!!!

For the price you can't beat it. It sharpens knives and does it well so why pay more. Good Product

This product actually works and is GREAT! I tend to use my chopper and paring knives for everything. The Jokari sharpened my chopper blades and my paring knives are sharper than ever. Buy it ... no regrets here.
