Nice rain jacket and well made
I purchased this item in an XS and S. It is a beautiful rain jacket and is well-made. I believe the jacket fits true to size, but it is tailored in the arm/shoulder causing a slight snugness on the top/upper arm when arms are held up. Sizing up did not take care of this, so if it would be bothersome, this jacket might not be for you. Most of the size difference is in the body and length (check measurements below). The S was a bit baggy under the arms and generally too loose on me; because the arms have the same type of fit,and feel, I will keep the XS which I can still wear a sweater with if necessary. I'm 5'5" and this comes a couple of inches above my knee which I think is a great length for a rainy day. I love that this rain jacket is packable. Love this rain jacket!I didn't write down the arm opening measurement (where the sleeve attaches to the shoulder), but the S was only a half inch bigger.Approx. measurements for XS are: chest 35, length 33, arm length, 24, shoulders 16.Approx. measurements for S are: chest 36, length 34, arm length 24.5, shoulders 16.25.

Nice quality jacket that is not boxy!
It is a very nice jacket, the fabric weight is medium and the construction is excellent with princess seaming for slimming shape and taped seam allowances (not just cut and serged). I would say it runs small through the upper back, medium in the sleeve length. It is tailored, but not supper dressy yet not LL Bean casual either, kind of in between style wise. Note the bow in the back is functional and not something to just unpin, that bow allows you to create a waistline. The construction is good, the color is interesting, a mix of a battleship grey with a purple iridescence to it that makes it edgier. The snaps in the front protect the zipper from rain, I would assume as I have not taken the tags off nor tested it in a nor'easter...I am 5'5", 120 lbs and I had to go up to a medium. There is one zipper pocket on the left side and two inseam pockets on either side. The flap fold over pockets are mock, just for decoration. There is no interior pocket.

This is a great rain jacket!
Fits as expected because others said it ran small, which it does. I wear a size 10 or 8 but ordered the Large, which suits me just fine. I have room for some layers. The color, indigo is great as it has some color but fits in with "city black" nicely. It is very well made with 3 pockets, one that zips. The hood zips on, which makes a nice seam with no gaps as it would if it snapped on. The only improvement I would like is if the zipper unzipped from the bottom, which it does not but it is a good zipper and the snaps work well and are enough to keep it closed for most purposes. It really keeps you dry too! the hood and closures around the face are very protective. I would highly recommend this rain jacket. I live along the Gulf Coast and do not need a coat like this for warmth so it is just right, sweaters under it are fine for New Orleans! It also packs into a compact zippered carrying bag.

Soaks through quickly!
I cannot figure out how this product got rated so highly by so many users. Mine soaked through within a few minutes the 1st time I wore it in a decent rainfall. My clothes underneath were sodden. Since this was advertised as a great packable travel item, I was indeed on a trip when this happened then had no dry clothes to change into. FAIL!

Lovely
I wear a 14 and often size up in coats. I definitely needed the XL for the hips. The fit is slimming and it has a stylish look, good enough to do for a spring or fall coat, not just a raincoat. I did not think I would like the tie in the back but it doesn't look cutesy after all and it does help customize the fit. The fabric is smooth and lovely, not plasticky or crinkly at all. Perfect layer for cool spring or fall travel with room for a fleece or heavy sweater if you size up. It does have a little travel bag to squeeze into, but I have not tried to make it go in, or worn it in more than a light rain in and out of the mall.

Fabulous Find in a Raincoat!
This is a very stylish raincoat. It is beautifully made and finished off on the inside. I'm a very petite size and most name brand raincoats look huge on me even if they are extra small. This raincoat fit perfectly! I plan to wear it when it rains in the spring, summer and fall. I live in Michigan and Michigan temperatures are pretty cold right now. However, if it is raining pretty hard, rather than wear my winter coat, I would wear a sweater under my new raincoat and I would be fine.

I love it!
It is a great coat and looks a lot better than it does on the model! It is unlined and very packable. I live in San Francisco and have worn it every day since I received it. The weather has been cold and rainy, and with a light sweater underneath, I have been comfortable. I am 5'3 and weigh 120lbs and the small fits perfectly. I struggle just a little with the zipper, but don't think it will catch on the material. Because of the snug fit I recommend ordering two different sizes to start with, just to be sure you aren't disappointed.

Better than expected
I initially bought this for traveling. I wasn't sure I would need a coat for this trip (I did, one day), so being packable was a big plus. Since then, I've often found myself pulling it out and wearing it locally. The coat is well made, with seams beautifully finished. There is a small zippered pocket above one of the side pockets, which provides a place to put my keys with no worries about them falling out. I've enjoyed this simple feature so much I wish all coats and jackets had it - no more fumbling, looking for where my keys have migrated to after I threw them in my purse.

I like it and recommend it.
I'm a sucker for anything packable. I sized up based on reviews, but found I didn't need to. Kept the one which was my regular size. I have no plans to layer under it; if I had, I would have needed the larger size. Now the larger size has become cheap enough that I'm buying one to give as a gift.I don't love the style, but it's hard to find longer length packable jackets, and this one gets points for having a drawstring to tighten the hood.Overall, I'm pleased. Just wish they were a little cheaper.

Very pretty, good quality with a feminine fit
I've had a hard time finding an attractive rain coat at a reasonable price (even more expensive ones seemed too boxy). This is a nice feminine shape but be warned that it is quite fitted and narrow, so if you're short and want to size up for a more roomy torso area, then the sleeves and body length may seem a little long. I am 5'2, 120 lbs. The XS fits nice with nothing underneath but with a heavier sweater I would consider a Small. I bought this in Small for my Mom who is the same height but a little wider in the hips and it was a little snug, but works with a thinner shirt underneath. The rose colour I bought is even more beautiful than I expected - slightly luminescent, and the sewing quality and details are so nice. Note that this is not a jacket for warmth, you'll want to wear a sweater underneath if needed, It's perfect however to protect you from rain and wind.

Great for rainy weather!
It's a really nice rain jacket! Met my expectations on the quality and colour of it. XS wouldve been the perfect fit, But it was almost double the cost so I got a Small. I'm 5"5' and 115 pounds but small is still a really good fit. I Love how it has one zipper pocket to seal important things, and I love how the overall jacket's zipper goes all the way up to my chin!

Vancouver weather-Rain Jacket perfect.
love this jacket. fits great , sleeves are perfect length . had originally ordered the XL but it was far too tight. 1x is roomy but thats what i wanted so as to fit a larger sweater underneath if needed. highly recommend.

Lo regresé
Tuve que regresarlo por qué me quedó pequeño, a pesar de que en general compro talla chica, además el corte no me pareció el más favorecedor
