Great product worked straight out the box
Worked straight out the box as described. The images are brilliant and the coverage fantastic. I can only find one fault so far, and that is there doesn't appear to be a way to mask part of the video area, so a tree branch causes it to record 24/7. However I ordered an extra camera to catch a part of the garden I missed; the camera gets the extra area, was easy to add, and the night IR coverage is by far the best I've seen on a camera system.

Easy to deploy, reliable CCTV for our home
This is the first time we've needed a CCTV system and the 2 camera with hard disk drive wireless Maisi system is perfect for us.The setup instructions were clear and easy to follow. Once the cameras were installed it was less than 10 minutes and the system was monitoring and recording. It took a bit longer to figure out how to backup specific recordings to an external USB drive. An email to [email protected] and I realised I needed to do the following:Format the USB using Linux and the software GParted, it's the software I used as I did not have any luck using Windows 10 the first time:• Insert the USB into the laptop running Linux• Launch GParted and identify the USB, make sure it’s not a Linux OS or file drive• Use GParted to create a partition on the USB first• Use GParted to format the new partition with FAT32After doing the above and inserting the USB into the NVR console, I could backup selected files to the USB. I used the AVI backup format and could play it back on Windows 10 using VLCplayer.I'm very happy with the cctv system and impressed with the one camera that's been working, recording in the rain now for 3 weeks.

Easy wireless set up
The camera was bought to give a 80+ year old man some peace and security in his bungalow. Setting everything up first in the living room is highly recommended as it simplifies the outdoor installation. The instructions are fairly straight forward, however the app for the mobile phone just wouldn't work despite a couple of attempts. For this installation the app was not needed, it may work for you ...As a bungalow, the camera location was lower then would have liked so it was decided to install one camera outside behind a wire cage to minimize tampering and one camera inside the double glazed porch. The inside camera was straight forward to wire up. The image during the day is clear and detailed. However at night, the hall light reflects on the double glazed porch glass which acts as a mirror, so it is advised to install indoor camera at night with lights on to get best result if its to be used to monitor a glass door.Although the camera power lead is about 3m long. the connecting socket and lan lead coming out the rear of the camera is about 25cm long. For the outside camera this will be an issue. We had to put these connectors inside a weatherproof junction box.The two connecting leads from rear of the camera is a bad design. to feed the lan socket through a wall you need a 20mm hole. The two leads are too short to avoid a outdoor connection in most cases without purchasing a weatherproof junction box

Excellent value for money
Did quite a bit of shopping round before purchasing the Maisie 2 bullet camera system as it offered wireless camera connection (saving the hassle of running extra unsightly cables) It was relatively easy to setup, even for a 70+ year old, really like the 30 day recording aspect of this system as it gives peace of mind whilst away from home also the TSEye app was easy to install on my android phone and it gives notification alerts + e mail messages when setup. Both daytime and night infrared pictures are very clear. Also a great after sales service, on the occasion I needed them, they came up to the mark. System installed March 2023 and recommend it.

Excellent CCTV system and very easy to set up.
With no connecting wires between camera and recorder, this has to be the easiest CCTV system ever to set up. Good picture quality daytime and night. I live in a well lit street so it remains full colour video day & night but I also tested it in a dark room and although the video turned to black & white, it was still a crisp & clear video quality. Each camera requires a power connection using the supplied switch mode power supplies and the recorder needs power but the signal between the cameras & the recorder uses WiFi. I did wonder if the WiFi connection between the cameras & the recorder might interfere with the house WiFi & slow it down but this proved not to be the case. The only complaint if you can call it that is that I bought my system from Amazon Warehouse. It was only £2 cheaper than the one advertised on Amazon Marketplace but it offered next day delivery so I went with it. However, the unit came without an instruction manual which made setting up a guessing game and most importantly, was missing a USB splitter twin lead. This is needed so you can connect a mouse and at the same time. put a USB memory stick to transfer video from the hard drive to the USB stick but my unit came without the USB splitter which is supplied if you buy from Amazon marketplace. So that means I cannot transfer any video from the hard drive to an external USB stick. Disappointing but not the fault of the manufacturer, its an omission by Amazon Warehouse.

Security? more like no security
The device itself is a massive back door into your network. its a white label camera with an empty default password. as soon as you connect it to the network the username for the cloud function is your serial number of the device.Ironically accessing it from your own network is annoying if you do not want to give it internet access and thus getting the recordings is a nightmare.turn on FTP, no local ftp server. tbh its a bit of a joke set up.
