I've wanted one of these for ages and this one is perfect!

Right out of the box, I'm impressed. Mind you, the lightbox it's replacing is about fifteen years old, four inches thick and uses a florescent bulb, but this thing is incredibly thin and lightweight.It's pretty intuitive. There's only one button. Tap it to turn it on/off, hold it to change brightness.It's also USB powered which means you can run it off of your laptop or even an external battery allowing maximum portability.It could be just a tad brighter, but I don't think that's actually going to be a problem.

Awesome for watercolor paper. It actually works with 140 lb cold pressed by arches. I do wish the light was 20-30% brighter. But this is the only large sized one I could find. You adjust the brightness by holding down the power button.It is as thin if not thinner than my cell phone. And extremely light weight.Ive attached photos for what a black and white print looks like vs a colored print underneath arches 140 lb 10x14 cold press.

I was a little surprised by the size of this light pad: it was larger than I expected, which is wonderful because I will eventually be using it for larger projects. So far, I have been very satisfied with its performance. It is very light weight, but it never moves too far — from it's designated spot atop my dresser to my work desk, where it plugs into a USB port on my 4K iMac. I'm more than satisfied.

Bought this when previous light pad from different manufacturer began to fall a part in first hour use. This box has an elegant design, appears well made and is very thin. The light is plenty bright and does the job wonderfully. I knock off a star because it is slightly smaller (B4) and slightly more expensive than comparative models from other brands.

I love this product! It is super compact and light weight. The surface is resistant and easy to work on it, plus it has a ruler imprinted on both sides. Also it is bright enough that is possible to trace not only on 140lb watercolor paper, but also on 400lb cold press watercolor paper which is quite thick. This product really facilitate my work time management.

I was looking for a light box on which to view negatives to sort them before sending them out to be scanned.This box is perfect - a good size, it has a nice even white backlight and the measuring scales along the edges are handy when using it as a tracing light box.Very inexpensive but very good.

I love this tracing board, so light weight! There are no edges (like some of the others), so you can turn your papers around and trace at different angles. The light feature is great and it is so easy to use!

I use this to transfer rough sketches from my normal sketch paper to watercolor paper for painting. It works fantastically. I really like the different light settings as that's very useful overall. Very lightweight too!Portability I think would depend on where you're taking it. I wouldn't really take this with me since it is pretty thin and I'd worry about how it'd hold up in most bags (though I am NOT docking stars for this, since that's not the light box's fault) but I think you could get away with it if you were just a little more careful in handling it!For normal portability through your household or to and from specific places, it's great. It being lightweight makes it a breeze to move around.Would highly recommend!

For crafts that require back lighting such as diamond art, twilling and vinyl weeding this is an excellent product for the price asked. The adjustable LED lighting and even spread of light over the frame makes working with crafts very easy. Would recommend

I have been using a small 8 x 10 old school lightbox for about 15 years with an old neon bulb for illumination. I don't know why, but it JUST occured to me that technology might have improved the concept, being that LEDs can be made virtually flat.I looked it up and bam; obviously the tech exists and even better it's not out of my price range. I picked this model because the size reflected the size in which I usually work and the super-thin nature of it has me hoping I can travel with it easily. It's lightweight, thin, the right size, feels slighty flexible which means it would be harder to shatter it. The light is adjustible but I admit I enjoy working with full bright.The only concern will be finding a case or something to carry it in. It does not come with a power adapter, but I have a ton laying around at home. It uses a micro-USB connection.I also got it in like... record shipping time.All in all, super satisfied.

The LED light box is lightweight and works well on most materials.It is a little hard to trace onto thicker fabrics or canvas.A fun, convenient and worthwhile product for me
