Didn't work with cordless phone
Bought this since my current 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm adapter I use with my Panasonic cordless phone was starting to fall apart. Unfortunately this was not the solution. The plug fit snugly, yet it only created horrible echo and static and the sound was in only one ear, not that I wanted it in two at that point because the feedback was torturing my eardrum. I tried both adapters, tried different handsets and it was the same on all. Went back to my old adapter held together with electrical tape mind you, and it was ten times better than this. Very disappointing.

Yep, it works great!!
I couldn't believe that an old micro cassette recorder didn't have a .35 jack, but this adapter worked well. Able to record using it to my PC and make MP3 files. Nice!

Poor quality
Plugged my headset for my mobile phone into adapter then into cordless landline. Sound was terrible. Would not recommend

Decent straight-through adapters
These TRS adapters are wired straight-through: tip to tip, ring to ring, sleeve to sleeve. No complaints about the build quality so far. IMPORTANT NOTE: if you are looking to connect a cell phone headset to your cordless landline phone (Panasonic, etc), these are probably not the adapters you want! You will need to do some research to figure out which adapter you need for your particular phone model.
