I have no problem with battery life, after I replace the cheap batteries that come with it. I use them for many purposes, mainly hunting for Uranium glass and the other kinds that glow, and the whole family used the for rockhounding-you'd be surprised how many different gems and minerals glow in UV light. This is my 3rd set, as my daughter and granddaughter keep borrowing them, lol. I don't mind because these are such great lights for the price. I love that it just has on-off, no strobe, no hi-low beam to bother with, just on and off.

This light works great and is small enough to take on the go if needed.

I was excited to use them because I found out you can use them to make glow in the dark toys glow instead of waiting for them to "charge" in regular light. Then I get them put the batteries in and nothing happens...

Great lights I use them for work. This is my second set, I gave one to a coworker from the first set and hers is going strong. Mine I accidentally dropped and it broke the bulb so beware of that

I purchased these pen lights after wondering if my 365 nm was just not picking up manganese (these ones are 395 nm). Sure enough, I put the batteries in one of these, hit my collection and got glows all over the place! Its a perfect size to slip into my pocket when I got to antique stores, estates sales and shows. This is my new favorite light!
