far better than standardized slots your cabinet/safe comes with
This is a fantastic product. Fits 5.56-12 gauge and holds them in place WHERE YOU WANT THEM. The foam gun dividers that come in a standard safe or gun cabinet would be fine if you were storing a set of 8 O/U shotguns on non-scoped rifles. But that aint the case is it? with multiple lengths, optics, etc, my gun cabinet was a mess and inefficient. For what you have invested in guns, this is CHEAP compared to them falling over and banking around and either scratching older guns yup or ruining the work you want to in sighting in the scope. This bad boy holds the gun TIGHT either ups nd down or at an angle. Well worth the money. Strong magnet, well made, really holds the guns in place. Getting rid of alt he long uniform foam lens and buying one for each gun. Being able to custom move it around at differing heights, scope sideways,, etc. is great.

Best one I’ve found
If you just need a spot or 2 in your cabinet, this is the one to get. Don’t waste your time with other cheap ones. This one has a decent magnet, it’s small enough to fit in odd spots, holds the rifle well. Nothing more to say. If you have foam and a magnet, yes you can make one. If you just need 1 spot quickly to set a shorter gun in your cabinet and don’t have supplies or time to make one. This works great.

PATHETIC JUNK
I do not leave reviews usually but this is pathetic. The magnets will barely hold the tiny piece of foam to metal if its a very flat piece. Junk don't waste your money like I did.

decently strong magnet, firm barrel fit
Very happy with this purchase. Magnet mounts decently firm inside my safe. Holds barrels firmly on my smaller rifles that dont reach the standard barrel holders. Works great out side the safe as well so guns do slide and fall while loading/unloading or rearranging cabinet.

Durability
I purchased 3 of this and I have used them in several different ways to include as a weapons mount inside my truck and used on the outside of my truck to hold fishing poles during a night of catfishing, so we could just sit on back of truck and have our poles secured as we fished

Does the job and then some!
I bough another product similar to this and it was comical how bad it was in comparison. This magnet is legit and the foam/function work perfect. I use this in a gun safe to help keep the rifles separated and organized, but have also taken one with me out for a day of shooting and used it on the car...works great! Cheap and easy solution that works.
