The raised cuthulu is very nicely embossed. The journal appears to be old at first glance. I bought it as a gift for a D&D player who loves cuthulus. Nice price, packaged very nicely, and delivered next day.

This was a gift and the recipient was very excited when he saw it. The embossed leather was very impressive. The quality of the pages inside was impressive. This is something DND fans will appreciate.

A picture in this case, gives you a good idea on how it looks, but to see it in three dimensions, was awesome. I have been on a cthulu kick for a little while now, and finding neat things like this makes my day. I wouldn't mind seeing something like this on a copper plate art plaque either.Thank you!

I use this notebook at work, and people walk by my desk and ask about it all the time. Great build quality as it has held up for over a year. People always joke about it containing the "scribbles of a mad man" ie: my poor handwriting, has pages missing and generally looks like the book used by a crazed wizard.

I use it to take notes for my D&D caimpain that i am currently running and it has the style and the space for what i need to right down. couldn't have asked for a better note book for D&D related themes

The journal is amazing, the pen however was smudgy and broke after a couple of uses

Way better quality than I was expecting. I love this thing. The paper quality is good, the embossed cover is very impressive. I will definitely be buying more of these notebooks.
