Ok, let me tell you something.I am afraid of heights. I am also a plus size substantive woman.Clearly ladders scare me because if this body were to fall, there would be alot of mess to clean up!Well, my apartment has 10 foot ceilings. I have not been able to fill my closets on top because I did not have a ladder that was high enough AND strong enough for this girl.I searched and searched and searched some more.Finally I took the change and I ordered this beauty.First of all, this ladder is substantive like me. It is sturdy. It is able to sustain me without a problem.I also love that the steps are full steps. I can place my entire foot on the step.I like that.I also enjoy the ease of the closing latch. It is a breeze to open and close this ladder.I purchased mine ladder in my favorite color - - - green!The ladder has another advantage. It closes so compactly that I can store behind my bedroom door.It is out of view when contractors come to the apartment to make repairs. The ladder is for me only. I will not share it with anyone. It's my treasure and my gem.

My old stepladder was so hard to fold and unfold I decided to get a new one. This one is taller and so much easier to use. It has a little latch that locks it in place, so it doesn't feel wobbly. My ceilings are very high, so this makes it easier to change light bulbs and reach the top of cabinets. The only drawback for me is that this one is a good bit heavier than my old one. I've got arthritis and it is pretty hard to pull it out of the closet to use it. Unless you're elderly like me or a petite woman, the weight will probably not be a problem. 4 stars.

So happy with this ladder. I have a Costco 3 step ladder but it sometimes isn't tall enough. This ladder far exceeds what I need (the top step is 47 inches). It isn't for a very narrow area. When it is open the front legs is approx 42 inches from the back legs. It feels very sturdy. It is pretty heavy (I can carry the costco with 1 hand but this one I need 2 hands)

Its a nice ladder for quick jobs to reach something overhead but is pretty wobbly for long term use like painting, cleaning overhead, etc. I purchased to access our high attic loft and I don't feel comfortable stepping out onto or off the top step of the ladder without someone holding it. Also, the photo is a bit deceptive. I looks like the back is straighter up and down than it actually is. I was hoping to use it with back facing the wall and then step into the attic loft but it is angled too far to do so. Unfortunately I missed the return window because it had to go to a UPS store only for return and I live a long way away from one. It will collect dust until our Fall garage sale.
