Very good product. After frying whatever residue remains in the oil, it strains it very well, no residue left at all. oil comes out absolutely clear. One suggestion, Wash it immediately with hot water, liquid detergent and use the brush which comes with it to keep the strainer clean and clear.

I have been using this for a few months and would recommend this for coffee enthusiasts and aficionados who enjoys Speciality Coffee. To set a context here, I also have an electric grinder and a hot water pouring kettle with a goose neck spout. This allows me to play with the grind size and get different results from this mesh cone. Some good, some not so good but a thoroughly enjoyable journey.Pros1. Being metal it has good heat retention as one warms it up with hot water before use. It is important to heat it up before use as one would wash the filter paper with hot water in a V60.2. It’s a good design, except the niggling silicon sheath at the lip gets dislodged and prone to disappear amidst other utensils. I have now lost it completely.3. One can safely do 500ml of Coffee in one batch, i.e. 2 X 250ml Coffee Mugs.4. It feels good to completely do away with the expense and litter of filter paper without much taste difference.Cons1. Invest in a scrubbing brush to keep the mesh pores open for longer use.

I was using Aeropress before using this product. I had to use disposable paper filters for Aeropress. Though I was sceptical before ordering this product, I was thrilled when I started to use it. I see this product is value for money and the quality is superb. I will surely recommend this product to replace V60 paper filters.Edit:I want to review this after using for 1 month. Recently i have noticed the coffee drip slowed down. As per the design, this item has two layers of mesh. Internal mesh is very fine and external is honeycomb pattern which is not so fine. However, after using for one month, there are few solid deposits between the layers. This explained why the drip became slow. I tried to clean and was afraid i might break external mesh. Later i tried soaking it in vinegar solution diluted with water which didnt work. Then i added baking soda in the same solution and soaked for few hours. This helped to clean very little residue between the layers. But over all, I’m not very happy with the purchase.

Doesn't filter properly

Last couple of weeks, despite some major toothbrush scrubbing, the coffee refused to drop after a point.. basically this filter has a shelf life of a couple of months. After which, it is useless unless you want just 100 ml of pourover.

Great product for those who care about nature and would like

As said in the description the cofee is not slowly dripping .I wont recommend .As we drink strong cofee in the morning.If we prepare with this we get very light coffee.

Truly state of the art design. Does the job perfectly. I am happy to do away with paper filters which are both expensive and wasteful.... highly recommend....👌🏼
